rob the family held a candle light vigil last night and they this is a picture of the of the buttons as they look for justice for hailey. and they want anwers as to why she was killed. how could you do this. how in your mind could you beat a girl where she can't breathe on her own these are the questions a family member of 16-year- old haley hall has for william lamar arnold. he's the man who, according to court records, admitted to police that he caused the teenager serious bodily harm. the family member asked us not to identify her because she is afraid of arnold, even behind bars. the young teen died today from her injuries. she fought hard since february 29 when she was admitted to the hospital. family said she was beaten so bad you couldn't tell it was her. the family tells me hailey was one of the coolest people to be around... which makes this

understand. she was really cool sweet outgoing and smart. she had the best personalty she always made everyone laugh and smile. but that smile is now gone. police tell fox 19 now arnold brought hall to the hospital. reportedly, she was his girl. how a 16-year-old got to be with a 34-year- old man. the family didn;t know. arnold was originally charged with assault but the charge was ignored according to court records. police said today new charges are pending. but if you ask the family they tell me they know what the charge should be. i feel like he should be charged with murder. and he should have been charged with attempted murder in the first place cause we did have a 16 year old fighing for her life. as of right now arnold's next court date is friday the 18th. as of right now still no new charges. live outside the

both men were arrested... fledderman was charged with patronizing a prostitute. his trial starts wednesday. following his arrest, he resigned as mayor of batesville. also new tonight.. a grand jury indicted the mother who falsely reporting her newborn baby was missing and set off a frantic search earlier this month. 28-year-old na'cole benton is indicted with inducing panic and making false alarms in the march third incident. benton's alleged lies sparked an hours-long search by cincinnati police and really she is accused of calling 911 to report her vehicle was stolen with her month-old daughter inside. the baby was later suspects were for stealing the car which crashed after a short police chase. you decide 2016 we've been closely presidential primaries since iowans caucused six weeks ago... and tomorrow, it's ohio's turn...

ben... no problems anticpated this time, right? that's what they're hoping for here at the hamilton county board of elections. poll workers have been setting up precincts for hours now. despite a list of issues during november's election... officials are confident this time is going to be different. phone ringing with just hours to go until polls open in ohio... nats "which precinct are you in?" ...there's still a lot of work to be done. no font "presidential elections - generals and primaries - always see a higher turnout." in 8 hours... the first voters will hit the polls. poll workers arrived at their precincts tonight to set up. sherry poland "they're going through their supplies making sure they have everything that they need for tomorrow morning, checking the equipment - making sure that's all up and running." that's why these phones nats of phone ...are ringing downtown tonight. nats "i'm going to tell you where it's at. the equipment's there. be patient, okay?" these workers are helping those manning the polls troubleshoot issues they're discovering. sherry

minimum." election officials say the help center phones are manned by 50 people. add to that... 116 troubleshooters in the field visiting polling locations, working hands on. they're working to ensure no issues arise this time... as did with e-poll books during last november's election. those problems led to a judge stepping in to keep polls open. sherry "the staff here at the board of elections has worked extremely hard the past three months making sure that all of our 'i's" are dotted and our "t's" are crossed." on the eve of election day... dotting those i's and crossing those t's starts on the phones in this room. nats "i'm going to give him a call right now and i'm going to call you right back." i asked election officials how voter turnout has been so far in hamilton county. i'm told numbers are higher than 2012, but not as good as 2008. polls open at 6:30 tomorrow morning here in ohio.

residents after a balcony collapse at a clifton apartment building. right now, investigators are trying to figure out what caused that balcony to collapse. fox 19 now's frankie jupiter talked with residents, and frankie some of those people are thinking twice about stepping out on their balcony, right. some are, let me show you what's left of that balcony that came crashing down yesterday. its leaving people with concerns for their own safety. "not going out there" "as soon as we saw that happen, we were like oh nope not getting out of here." you can see the damage a little bit better in the day light. this is the rubble of wood and bricks left after the balcony collapse. some residents say they didn't know what happened at first. "at first i thought it may have been a fire which was very frightening" "we thought it was thunder, all of a sudden and all of sudden we just hear something" investigators are trying to figure out what caused the balcony to come crashing down. i called roslyn realty, where the
