full custody. life before he died was rough. and the coroner said he had abuse up until he died that statement comes from austin grandmother. and court records filed in a child --would mean she is also talking about her daughter, austin's biological mother jessica cooper. in the documents, austin's father robert raises drug abuse and sexual abuse allegations from july 2014 thru may documents richie wrote that he was told by a warren county cps investigator, of "heavy drug use in the home." the home he was referring to was of jessica cooper. it also reads that the drugs were being done "while the children were there." richie also wrote to the court of "possible sexual abuse aligations have happened in

"anytime he used to return from her home, he wouldn't talk, or communicate with anyone for days. an obvious concern." the record also shows that jesscia cooper did not show up for the hearing involving her son. as richie petitioned the court to get custody of austin, he wrote these words which are chilling. he said quote, "i feel it to be in the better interest of my son to stay with me and his step-mother in a safe, stable environment." anna richie was arriagned today on child endangerment charges after police said she admited to putting austin's leg's in scolding hot water as a punishment. his grandmother doesn't hold back on what she thinks she thinks should happen to anna. she should get life in prison. death row. don't put a needle in her arm just put her to sleep real slow anna richie is being held on a 350,000 dollar bond and we understand more charges may follow in the coming days. we did speak with jessica yesterday and she declined out request for an interview. we reached out again today and could not locate her. michael baldwin fox

don't have the knowledge or education or experience." officer russell kenney spends his days on the beat in milford. that's not his only job. kenney "in our area, we have a dre in just about every county." a d-r-e is a drug recognition expert. kenney trains them... and coordinates the program in this area. just this week... two lebanon police officers became the newest to join the d-r-e ranks. kenney "we've been doing it for six years. we have around 165 dre officers that have been trained throughout the state." the goal is simple - to prevent crashes, injuries and death at the hands of impaired drivers. a dre officer is trained to spot drug-related impairment... through a 12-step checklist. kenney "they're able to articulate drug impairment other than alcohol and be able to differentiate between the drug impairment, medical impairment or alcohol impairment." kenney says a d-r-e officer is at most ovi checkpoints in the area... including the two happening in hamilton county... right now. kenney "you're going to lose. if we find you operating a vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol, we're going to

days. however... officials won't say if he actually fired the shots...they can only prove that he was in possession of the gun that was used. they were able to prove it by looking at shell cases from this shootout on reading road that happened just a few months later. police say the man in the video... is herald... firing shots that eventually hit a metro bus! he's now in jail for that incident... and investigators thank technology for the breakthrough "what it allows us to do is to compare cartridges from different crime scenes and compare them to see if there's a link between those different shooting scenes." todays indictment came from a partnership between c-p-d and federal investigators. new video is helping shed light on what exactly happened earlier this week when a car went off the side of the combs- hehl bridge into the ohio river. take a look at this surveillance video from a home on the kentucky side of the river.

moment the terrible accident happened. meanwhile... investigators announced earlier today that they're getting closer to figuring out who was inside. "its a strong possibility that we believe we know who might be...had been driving at the time the vehicle went over the bridge." butted to "for us, the most important aspect of this recovery is the occupants in the vehicle so we're not going to rush anything that might distrub that. the car is secondary." investigators aren't releasing the name of driver but say that person used the bridge a lot. commercial dive crews will extract the occupants when the river current slows down.. that could be tuesday or wednesday. then crews will try to remove the car but their priority are the occupants. a local mother has admitted to watching her boyfriend severely beat her daughter... later causing her death. this was the scene inside the butler county courthouse today... as 23-year old rebekah kinner pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter. 2-year old kinsley passed away in december after
