breaking now...police are investigating a police chase and crash. this is a map of the area at sharon road and willow avenue. dispatchers tell us the chase only lasted a short time but may have reached speeds of more than 100-miles per hour. two people were hurt and a third may be on the run. fox19 now has a crew on the way to the scene and will bring you details as they become available. breaking now. a fire investigator is called to an apartment complex in north avondale. crews battled flames at the avond fields apartments on reading road, just after midnight. we're told the fire started in a storage room in the basement... but the cause remains unclear. everyone made it out safely... residents were allowed to return to their homes after the smoke was cleared. new this morning new this morning... we are learning more about a deadly crash on the combs hehl bridge. investigators say a driver rear-ended a pontiac grand am on eastbound i-275 late last night....

pontaic died from his injuries. his name is not being released at this time. the other driver was taken to u-c medical center with serious injuries. police say excessive speed and impairment are believed to be factors. less than a week ago, the combs- hehl bridge was the scene of a 12- vehicle pileup.. that sent a car plunging into the ohio river. officials now believe they know who was inside the vehicle.. but have not been able to remove the car or the body from the water... but that could change today... dan dblbx our sara celi is live in campbell county with more. live police hope today they can continue recovery efforts... they have located a car underneath the bridge that they believe is the car involved in this accident. high water forced police to suspend the search last week... vo the accident happened last tuesday sbout 4:45 pm. it involved twelve cars and four seperate accidents that caused a chain reaction as other cars tried to slow down on the bridge. police say passerby reported a car, possibly a grand prix, going over the side of the bridge and into the river.... but do not have any information on the owner or potential occupants of the car. the car was about halfway across the bridge when it was involved in the crash and plunged into the river below. recovery efforts even led the coast guard to shut down part of the river on

asking the e-p-a for an extension, to keep the little miami waste incinerator facility open, while bringing it up to code. a grand jury has indicted a woman accused of stealing from the university of cincinnati. 26-year-old kassandra jackson faces charges of theft, fraud and misuse of credit cards. court documents state, she stole thousands of dollars between december 20-13 and november 20-14. we checked with u-c officials.. who could not confirm whether she is a current student or if she's graduated. a warrant was issued for jackson's arrest. we want to get another check on this morning's forecast. frank joins us with a look at the day ahead. after a chilly weekend we will get back to more spring like temps in the 60s this week before another quick cool down for the end of the week. we start out this morning in the upper 20s with sunshine this afternoon and a high of 50 degrees. our winds will shift on tuesday with a windy day and a southern flow with a high of 62 degrees and
