the accident happened last tuesday sbout 4:45 pm. it involved twelve cars and four seperate accidents that caused a chain reaction as other cars tried to slow down on the bridge. police say passerby reported a car, possibly a grand prix, going over the side of the bridge and into the river.... but do not have any information on the owner or potential occupants of the car. the car was about halfway across the bridge when it was involved in the crash and plunged into the river below. recovery efforts even led the coast guard to shut down part of the river on wednesday. live we will stay on top of this recovery effort here on fox19 now, and fox19now dot com. back to you. developing developing now... officials say the developing now... officials say the deadly paris terror attacks in november, could have been worse. a suspect was taken into custody on friday...told officials, say that suspect planned to carry out more

abdes-lam had planned a suicide bombing for a paris stadium. now 130 people were killed in the concert and stadim. authorities captured the wanted terrorist after four months of hiding out in belgium, after finding a stash of weapons in an apartment. the suspect apparently had ties to other criminal organizations. "there are so many links between the so-called terrorists and the criminals. they are using the same tools, they are using the same caves, the same apartments, the same locations." france is now asking belgium to extradite the suspect to paris... however, his lawyer plans to fight for him to stay in brussels. flags are being flown at half-staff at state government facilities across indiana, in honor of a sheriff's deputy killed in the line of duty. howard county deputy carl koontz was shot early at a mobile home in russiaville roo'-shuh-vil , about 60 miles north of indianapolis.

breaking now breaking now... a police chase has just ended in a crash in glendale... dan dblbx our robert guaderrama joins us live with with the breaking details. we're told the chase started in the 11-thousand block of reading road in sharonville at around 4 this morning. the short but high-speed chase ended in the car crashing into a pole at the intersection of sharon and willow roads here in glendale. according to radio traffic, the driver was conscious but the passenger was not. a third person is believed to have fled the scene on foot. police have since closed the road here. we'll keep you posted throughout the morning. live in glendale, robert guaderrama, fox19 now. happening now a texas family who

arrests in daytona beach, florida, just spring break and the crimes aren't just drinking related... this weekend, two spring breakers stole beach patrol's jet ski. the two men later ditched the jet ski and tried to run, but officers caught up and took them into custody. but as more people have been packing the beach this year, police and beach patrol have beefed up enforcement on the sand.
