morning, bullock and expected rest of the day? dale: the fog will be around for a while today. you can see the fog. it will be a foggy morning through 12:00 or 1:00. showers developing this afternoon in this evening. all of these various colored counties. as you can see, a good bit of the upstate under a dense fog advisory until mid-to-late morning. a very foggy beginning to our week. a mild day. the next couple of days will be warmer than normal and then cooler weather will come in as things dry out. thursday through sunday looking

to stay calm. she started coughing up blood. >> i really would like the people who are responsible to get caught and have justice applied to what they did. myra: investigators have not released an update on how the victim is doing at this point. once again, troopers are looking for a newer ford focus or fusion thought to be grey or silver. if you have any information, please call crime stoppers at 23-crime. also this morning, deputies in greenville county are continuing to investigate a man's death. deputies say they were called to a home on perry road in the sans souci area around 6:00 sunday last night. deputies say they found a man dead inside that home. so far, investigators are calling this a death investigation. they're not releasing any more much information at this we will point. continue to follow this story on air and online at wyff4.com. patrick: greenville county deputies hope you can help them

from alzheimer's and diabetes. 78-year-old doyle chism was last seen sunday afternoon leaving his home on green fern drive. he was last seen driving his 2008 black ford f-150. it has a south carolina tag of aud974. if you can help deputies locate chism, you are asked to call the sheriff's office. myra: a reported car in an upstate river led to a search by a dive team late last night. dispatchers say someone reported seeing a car roll into the saluda`river along holcombe drive near highway 8 in greenville county. by the time dive teams were able arrived, they were able to locate the vehicle, but it had drifted into the west pelzer area. dive crews say the car was empty when they got to it. patrick: we're getting our first look at four people facing charges following an amber alert in asheville. shortly after noon on sunday, authorities issued the alert for elijah and harlee joyner. police say about an hour later, the boys were found safe.

carter of georgia are both charged with abduction of children and kidnapping. chadwick agan, also of georgia, is charged with abduction, and another person, trena weaver, is charged with child abuse. investigators have not released any more information about the this case. the spartanburg county coroner and cowpens police are investigating the death of a man who was found in a road behind a restaurant. investigators say someone found the man who was unresponsive in the road behind hardee's in cowpens sunday morning. the coroner says brent lee tesneer died at the hospital. tesneer was from cowpens. he was 36. the coroner calls the death suspicious. a charlotte mall was back open -- is back open just days after a fatal officer-involved shooting on christmas eve. thomas ferguson, an off-duty officer, shot and killed 18-year-old daquan westbrook after police say he opened fire during a dispute with another group of men. security was extra tight at the

say it will remain that way. ferguson is on paid administrative leave as this investigation continues. myra: you get a sense of the chaos that broke out at stonecrest mall near atlanta after shots were fired saturday night. a witness recorded the incident what was taking place with a cell phone. you can see people rushing around. two groups of teenagers got into a fight at the food court. no one was hurt. police are still searching for spects. patrick: let's check in with some sports. if you thought the panthers would run the table this regular season. myra: not what happened. you can blame the falcons. patrick: we can take a look at the 70 yard strike to matt ryan to julio jones. they have been doing it all year long. this catch is ridiculous, as it

up from greenwood into the upstate, you will run into dense fog. some of the heaviest rain is in the mississippi valley area. some severe thunderstorm watches for mississippi, louisiana, and even tornado watches. cooler temperatures are coming. i know it has been unseasonably warm for a good bit of december. by this weekend, it will feel more like winter as we go to a new year. upper 60's fofothe afternoon in the upstate. mountains will see temperatures in the mid-60's. you can see the tornado watches in louisiana and mississippi. look at the snow developing behind the system. we will get rain from it. coldsnow in oklahoma city. upper 60's to look forward to down south. here is our future was forecast.

room for the new "star wars" land. the "star wars" land will take up 14 acres, which would be disney's largest single themed land expansion. to make room, roughly 14% of disneyland's attractions are closing. it is not clear which was will reopen. groundbreaking on the "star wars"-themed land is set for sometime in 2016. myra: in the arctic, there are some athletes who get no days off. these adorable pups in norway are being trained to be sledding dogs. they actually enjoy pulling hundreds of pounds of people we are told. they are cute. patrick: let's show this next video because we have been looking forward to this one. one of the most popular gifts this holiday season was the hoverboard. myra: no hovering involved. patrick: now we get to watch people fall.

his neighborhood. take a look. he helps pull up the garbage can for 17 of his neighbors. his big wish for christmas was new garbage cans. >> some people are outside, so they say thank you, and i sometimes say you're welcome. patrick: an industrious little fellow. myra: the garbage trucks came back through friday to drop something off just for jobiah. brand-new garbage cans he can fit in as s ll. patrick: i hope he does not get inside. instead of throwing your tree on the curb this year, why not give it to the goats? the san francisco fire department is teaming up with city grazing to recycle christmas trees. the goats work as part of a weed clearing service nearby during the summer months, but the owner of the goats says they don't get much variety in the winter, so the christmas trees help.

they provide vitamins and minerals and christmas tree smelling breath which is nice and fresh. the 80 goats can eat 20 trees per day. myra: gladly have an appepete for that. new york city is getting ready for the iconic new year's eve celebration in times square. crews installed 288 waterford crystals on the famous times square ball, adding to more than 2,100 sparkling crystals already in place. the ball's new starburst design is part of this year's theme "gift of wonder." to get ready for the big night, people also wrote down theirir hopes for 2016. the papers will be used as confetti in times square. if you want your 2016 hopes to be included in the confetti, visit the times square alliance website. >> to be the first person to achieve something on this scale is incredible, really, and i can't -- i haven't processed it yet. patrick: this man's incredible feat that took him from san francisco all the way to

have a good chance of rain each day. areas already saturated could see localized flooding. dense fog advisories continue until 9:00 for a good bit of the upstate and the piedmont. mild temperatures in the 60's will climb to 69 . 70 in elberton. 64 for the afternoon in asheville. foggy conditions across the area's s givers of a little extra time before you head out the door with the clouds and fog. myra: from the roads to the water now. a british rower arrived in australia. that may not seem like a big deal until you realize he claims left from san francisco. patrick: it is a big deal. 53-year-old john beeden says he's the first person to row solo and non-stop across the pacific ocean from north america. he says he spent 209 days at sea after setting off from san francisco in june.
