geoff: seneca police say a man admitted to dropping and stepping on his girlfriend's 48-day-old baby daughter. police say leroy morris was taking care of the child while the mom was at work. investigators say the child has several broken bones skull fractures, and a spinal cord injury. they tell us she is being treated at the greenville health system. no word right now on her condition. allyson: three upstate churches were vandalized within 24 hours of one another. now, their pastors and a local senator are vowing a united front. geoff: the three churches are in simpsonville. they are the flamb baptist church, calvary baptist, and rocky creek missionary baptist. wyff news 4's aly myles joins us live from rocky creek this morning. aly: four of the daycare doors the hind meat usually have glass windows. you can see the plywood of their

something like this? the greenville sheriff's office will help in this investigation. >> south carolina does not plan to stand for vandalism of god posh house. -- of god's house. aly: state officials will get involved if this vandalism continues. geoff: a man charged in the death of two others has died in police custody. deputies say he was flung out of state for a psychological investigation. he suffered a health issue on the way back to south carolina and died yesterday. we are hearing from a 21-year-old man who says excessive force by the police caused him to lose a tooth. the greenville police are investigating this. jaquan williams says he was slammed to the ground while in handcuffs. he was under arrest on a charge of possesion of marijuana.

pulled over because of an expired tag. acacrding to the police report, williams refused orders to sit down and was cursing at the officer. the report saysilliams also pushed the officer. williams says the actions of the officer were wrong and he now needs dental work. >> they should admit to what they have done. i am not asking for a lot. i am not tying to get hundreds of thousands of dollars. i just want my dental work to be paid for at least. geoff: police do plan to release the dash cam video. allyson: it has been seven months since a baby leonna wright went missing. some of the billboards had a typo in the numbmb. that typo has been fixed.

1-888-crime-sc if you know something that could help bring leonna home. geoff: another person faces charges following the hostage situation last week. police say 21-year-old diamond williams placed a 911 call claiming to be another woman and alleging domestic assault. she was not the woman held hostage. she is charged with falsely reporting a crime. she made the call after an argument with corey thomas. the hostage situation ended when thomas stepped himself with a knife. allyson: medshore officials tell us a man stole an ambulance, with a paramedic inside. officials say the ems crew brought a cardiac arrest patient to an-med health yesterday morning around nine. a paramedic was in the back of the ambulance straightening things up when a different patient hopped into the front seat and took off. medshore says the paramedic was able to gain control of the

left hospital grounds. >> it is a very scary moment for the individuals and people in that situation. you don't want to be in that situation and they tried their best to stop the vehicle and emotion. allyson: investigators have charged 47-year-old lenny ray ware in the case. geoff: the greenville county woman is asking for your help after she says two of her horses were shot and killed near her home. the first horse was found on christmas eve near a barn at curt fowlers quarter horses in piedmont. we're told the second horse was killed o osunday. one of the owners believes the person responsible used a 22 caliber weapon to kill the animals. now she's worried for the safety of everyone in the area. >> i'm a firm believer that if they do it to them, they would do it to a kid, to a grown up or whatever, and what if that bullet had ricocheted and hit one of our neighbors? geoff: right now, the company is

cameron massengale lost his right hand in a work accident in 2014. he's training to become a member of the prestegious summerall guard with the help of his prosthetic hand. the 20-year-old junior is working with the hanger clinic in greenville to develop the hand he needs. >> i need it for heavy activity because along with learning these specific drills, i need to do push-ups, run, carry a rifle, hold things above my head, do bear crawls. allyson: massengale climbs walls, lifts weights, does push-ps, even plays guitar all with his artifical hand. the guard selection process resumes when school starts at the citadel monday. geoff: he is something, isn't it? an upstate football player survived a medical scare that could have ended his lif back in september, 13-year-old isaiah custodio got a bad headache while at football practice at mauldin middle school.
