daughter. police say leroy morris was taking care of the child while the mom was at work. investigators say the child has several broken bones, skull fractures and a spinal cord injury. they tell us she is being treated at the greenville health system. no word right now on her condition. state pastors in a local senator ark valley the united front after someone vandalized three churches within 24 hours of each other. allyson: the three churches bethlehem baptist church calvary , baptist, and rocky creek missionary baptist. wyff news 4's aly myles joins us live from rocky creek this morning. aly: good morning. here at the repercussions from the vandalism at the church.

there are four doors just like this around here. these are some of the examples of the vandalism that you see here at the church. four of these were shot out and the ground was littered with glass. the vandals also tried to shoot out the stained glass windows, but a protective plexiglass saved those. the greenville county sheriffs office says it looks like it was done with a pellet gun. they also shot out the windows of their two fans used for church activities, one only a week old. look at what people at bethlehem baptist church found on harrison bridge road. pellet holes in a window there. calvary baptist was also vandalized. members and staff were left wondering who would do something like this? >> i mean, why? what is the point of shooting up a church? we're trying to do god's work so why would you want to do something like that? >> south carolina does not plan to stand for vandalism of god's house.

greenville said the greenville county sheriff's office and the state law enforcement division will help in the investigation. he says state officials will get involved if the vandalism continues. aly myles wyff news 4 live in simpsonville. allyson: my men charged in the death of two others has died while in police custody. albert bowen stood accused of shooting former pickens high school football coach bill isaacs and dickie stewart back in september. deputies say bowen was flown out of state for a psychological evaluation. he suffered a health issue on the way back to south carolina and died yesterday. geoff: in the atlanta area now another person faces charges , following that hostage situation involving a woman and 11 children. police say 21-year-old diamond williams placed a 911 call claiming to be another woman and alleging domestic assault. however, she was not the woman held hostage. williams is charged with false report of a crime. detectives say she made the call

he's in the hospital. they say tuesday's hostage situation ended when thomas stabbed himself with a knife. the children held hostage range in age from 3 months to 17-years-old. allyson: we are hearing from a 21-year-old man who says excessive force by the police caused him to lose a tooth. the greenville police are investigating this. jaquan williams says he was slammed to the ground while in handcuffs. he was under arrest on a charge of possesion of marijuana. he was the passenger of a car pulled over because of an expired tag. according to the police report, williams refused orders to sit down and was cursing at the officer. the report says williams also pushed the officer. police say williams was then taken to the ground. williams says the actions of the officer were wrong and he now needs dental work. >> they should just admit what they've done. i am not asking for a lot. i am not trying to get hundreds of thousands of dollars. i am just want my dental work to be paid for at least.

to release the dash cam video. geoff: it's been seven months since baby leonna wright went missing from her home in pendleton. yesterday, leonna's family placed a teddy bear by one of the billboards asking for help finding her. some of the billboards had a typo in the number you can call if you know anything about leonna's whereabouts. that's been fixed now. call crimestoppers at 1-888-crime-sc if you know something that could help bring leonna home. allyson: a father is upset after his 10-year-old daughter was patted down by tsa. it happened while traveling through raleigh-durham international airport. he recorded this video on his cell phone. he says the pat-down lasted almost two minutes. it came after an empty juice box set ofofsecurity alarms. he says it made his daughter feel uncomfortable and was too invasive. tsa officials says the process by which the child was patted down followed approved procedures. geoff: medshore officials tell us a man stole an ambulance with a paramedic inside. officials say the ems crew brought a cardiac arrest patient

morning around 9:00. a paramedic was in the back of the ambulance straightening things up when a different patient hopped into the front seat and took off. medshore says the paramedic was able to gain control of the ambulance and park it before it left hospital grounds. >> it's a very scary moment for the individuals and people in that situation. you don't want to be in that situation, and they tried their best to stop that vehicle in motion. investigators have charged 47-year-old lenny ray ware in the case. allyson: a greenville county woman is asking for your help after she says two of her horses were shot and killed near her home. the first horse was found on christmas eve near a barn at curt fowlers quarter horses in piedmont. we're told the second horse was killed on sunday. one of the owners believes the person responsible used a 22 caliber weapon to kill the animals. now, she's worried for the

the record of 71 set a few years ago in 2012 and remember last year on this date, it was five degrees for a low. we were worried about pipes and the work pipes breaking with those cold temperatures last year. asheville got down to minus one on this date in 2014, but 20's inclined to upper 40's to the 50's for afternoon highs today. our next weather maker will impact us tomorrow with a slight chance of showers overnight tonight but the better chance friday and saturday. most of the country dealing with cold in winter like temperatures but not as cold as it can be. 30 in denver, 36 in washington and boston and 27 as we start the day. the beach will be mild with mid 60's both days but a 40% to 50% chance of showers down the coast.

emergency town hall on wednesday night. the leak is at the also canyon storage facility in the suburb of porter ranch. it was discovered in late october. the california air resources board estimates that it is sending about 1200 tons of methane into the atmosphere every day. the friend and former neighbor of the san bernardino shooters pleaded guilty 10 not -- pleaded not guilty to federal charges. enrique marquez is charged with conspiracy to commit crimes of terrorism, and federal weapons charges. prosecutors say marquez purchased the two assault rifles used by the shooters in the san bernardino massacre. the attack left 14 dead and more than 20 wounded. marquez 's trial is set to start next month. if convicted, he faces 50 years behind bars. geoff: bill cosby will not face criminal charges tied to a pair of sexual assault allegations in los angeles. the d.a. made the announcement yesterday. this is video from last week. cosby was arrested in pennsylvania on criminal sexual assault charges there. he is free on a million dollar

if convicted in that case, the comedian could go to prison for 10 years. allyson: chipotle has been served a federal grand jury subpoena. it's part of a criminal investigation tied to a norovirus outbreak. the outbreak happened at one of its california restaurants over the summer. the company made the disclosure in a filing with the securities and exchange commission. chipotle mexican grill says the subpoena requires it to produce a broad range of documents. last month, a chipotle in boston was shut down for a norovirus outbreak. geoff: take a look at this video. a pennsylvania high school coach is caught on camera allegedly assaulting a referee. with less then 30 seconds in the game, a player is called for charging. the coach got upset and the looks like he head-butt the referee. the coach received a second technical and was ejected. the referee wasn't seriously hurt and remained on the court.
