government, and we need to take power out of washington and back to we the people. that is what this campaign is all about. michael: cruz urged his supporters to get more involved in his campaign here in south carolina to make sure their neighbors get out and vote. cruz then left for stops tomorrow in fort mill and myrtle beach. carol: meanwhile, south carolina native and former presidential candidate lindsey graham is throwing his support behind jeb bush. today, graham made the announcement. the senator says it all comes down to national security. he believes jeb bush has the best plan to fight isis. the pair now is focused on doing well during the south carolina primary. sen. graham: so ladies and gentlemen, south carolina is going to reset this race. on february 20, we're going to give jeb bush the momentum that he needs and deserves to win the nomination. carol: right now in the latest nbc-wall street journal poll, bush is tied with chris christie in 5th place. trump continues to lead with

michael: in greer, police have arrested a 17-year-old. tonight he stands accused of breaking into a high school. you see him here throwing trophies against the trophy cases. a greer police officer in greenville county school security guard responded to riverside high school around 2:30 this morning. police said found a shattered window leading into the library and a large rock inside the window. the teen was identified as 17-year-old james bravakis. the district said he is a senior at riverside high. he has been suspended tonight. trekking through the night. he is chargedith public drunkenness. carol: anderson police held a news conference this morning, homicide case that happened back in december. and they're asking for your help. the shooting happened on i-street on the night of december 23. police say 25-year-old michael mcgee was killed. his body was found in a barbershop behind the house.

two gunshot wounds to the chest. no arrests have been made. his family wants closure and justice. >> i just want anybody with any information, big or small. if you loved mike, you would come forward. if you saw anything or hear someone talking, please come forward. we want justice for mike. carol: investigators released a sketch this morning. anyone with information is asked to call crime stoppers at 1-888-crime-sc. michael: now to west africa, where suspected islamist fighters tonight attacked a hotel used by foreigners in burkina faso. al qaeda in the islamic maghreb claimed responsibility for the attack. video from the capital, ouagadougou, showed fire along a city street and security personnel swarming the area. the attackers set cars on fire as they went into the hotel. five hours later, commandos trying to free hostages used explosives to enter the building, starting another fire. the number of killed is uncertain.

upwards -- one estimate puts it upwards of 20. carol: in hawaii, a search is underway for 12 crew members who were on board two marine helicopters that crashed. the helicopters collided during a night time training mission . marine officials tell us each chopper had a crew of about 6 or more. they were all from the marine corps base on the islands. debris has been spotted in the water near hawaii's oahu island. there's no word on the s stus of the people onboard. michael: turns out it was not a mechanical problem after all. a navigation error is being blamed for putting american sailors into iranian waters. defense secretary ash carter says it's unclear if the crew made the mistake, or if navigational equipment is to blame. iranian forces detained the ten americans when their boats crossed into iranian territory in the persian gulf on tuesday. all 10 were released the next their fleet. carol: the cdc has imposed new travel guidelines for pregnant women. it's all because of the mosquito-bourne zika virus. that virus was found in fetal and newborn tissues of babies in

disorder microcephaly. there is currently no vaccine to block the virus and no medicine to treat it. early this week, it was confirmed in a person who had recently traveled to latin america. michael: a recall to tell you about. the pharmaceutical company perrigo has recalled cherry and grape flavored cough syrup, it's due to problems with the dosing cup. that could lead to an overdose. and while all of the defective syrups are off the shelves, amanda leeson with safekids upstate says this is actually a more common problem than most families realize. parents might use household things like a measuring teaspoon or a regular spoon to give their children medication. she says the dosing is not the same with a teaspoon from a dosing. -- dosing spoon. >> a regular tablespoon or teaspoon that you get out of the silverware drawer is probably going to measure too much medication as compared to an
