most places south of i-85 will see drizzle. above 4500 feet, you could see - -3500 fetet, you could see some slick spots. patrick: new information tonight about two deadly crashes in one upstate county this afternoon. the first happened in starr around 12:30. the second in belton not long after. the anderson county coroner says 24-year-old billy jack mccurry died when his pickup over-corrected, and hit a tree. we're told he was heading to his dad's house after only his third day on his new job. the coroner says he suffered internal injuries and died at the scene of the crash. in the second crash in belton the coroner says 23-year-old shelly hughes of elberton, georgia was killed. troopers say hughes' car went off the side of the road, hit a tree and hurled down an embankment. the coroner says hughes was 7 months pregnant and leaves behind two children. she had recently moved to

million in federal funding. the city has been in a crisis since lead was discovered in its tap water. the u.s. justice department is working with the environmental protection agency to investigate the events leading up to the situation. the mexican navy released footage from a raid on a hideout used by joaquin "el chapo" guzman before his recapture. the raid was conducted in october on just one of the hideouts the fugitive drug lord used after his second escape from prison six months ago. the safe house was located in a forest region. mexico deployed elite marines to hoping to trap guzman. , the footage was shot on cameras attached to helmets worn by the troops. el chapo was recaptured last friday. he's now being held in isolation and awaiting extradition to the u.s. right now, thousands are celebrating the legacy of doctor martin luther king, jr.

monday. but as wyff news 4's corey davis tell us, upstate events honoring his life are in full swing. corey: dr. martin luther king jr's passion for education remembered through a college fair. >> he wanted young people to be educated. he thought we should all be educated. corey: more than 400 students filled the gunter theater in greenville to plan their futures. >> i'm looking for a college that can accept me in n chanical engineering. corey: students heard from many representatives of hbcu's historically black colleges and universities. >> it works well with me and what i want. i've been going to predominantly white schools all my life and i want to be more connected with african american culture. corey: some parents say their children will benefit from that experience. >> i think when these students leave these hbcu's they feel like they can conquer the world. corey: students were most interested in school programs and learning what it's like to go to hbcu's. >> i went to a predominantly white school, i'm just going to put that out there.

>> you are watching live, local, breaking news with patrick hussion, weather with meteorologist chris justus and sports with marc dopher. patrick: the clemson publix grocery store welcomed students back to school for the semester with some free food today. the store offered samples, demonstrations, and discounts . employees tell us they had a number of recipes they showcased throughout the store. they say it's just their way of saying welcome back for another semester in tigertown. a record number of runners took to the streets to give back to their community this morning. more than 1515 people crossed the finish line for the 37th annual greenville news run downtown. people off all ages came out for the early start. proceeds from the event will go to the holiday sunshine fund. wyff 4 is a partner in raising money for that fund.
