>> go get them. >> our producer adam miller. >> they are coming in, folks. >> come on inside. >> now you're listening, of course, to "hotel california" by the eagles. again, another rock legend in the space of a week or so glenn frey died at the age of 67. one of the founding members, of course, of the eagles. he died in new york city. hits like "hotel california," witchy woman," you can go on and on and on and the band has said for the past several weeks frey was battling complications from rheumatoid arthritis and pneumonia and hasn't been in the best of health. eagles, five number one hits, six grammys, five american music awards and sold more albums than any american band in history. individuals, elvis, michael jackson, people have done better, but no band in american history has sold more albums. glenn frey also, by the way, came up a little later saying "the heat is on." when i first dialed in and worked backward.

be addressed as the joke in the monologue because i know people keep saying chris rock will make them listen. enhas did it as well and trevor noah, i love his show, had the funniest joke, "straight out of compton," a hip-hop movie and the two best people nominate were white and "creed," black director, black lead, black supporting actress and the one person nominated is white, sill vestier stallone and brilliant in that, and i think those movies aside this is a conventional wisdom, conventional conversation that indress alba, a lot of people pointed out, maybe a -year-old white guy may not get "straight out of compton," it should be bebeuse that's what you do for a living, you are a theater person. you are a movie person but like a performance that stops you in

story, brilliant cinematography i think people are really honing in and asking why. >> they will have to change the makeup of the academy, and i think -- >> do you think that's the problem. >> >> i do think that's the problem, absolutely. those are the people who vote, and i think sheryl -- president cheryl boone isaacs responded and says she's heartbroken and frustrated. as many of you know we've implemented changes to diversify our membership. change is not coming as fast as you like and we need to do more better and quickly. >> i worry about that because that implili that if the art looks like you that's the only art you're understanding and they are saying 60-year-old white guys but these are people who work in that industry. it's not as if they went to the waffle house in burleson, texas and recruited the 70-year-old cook there. these are individuals who work in that industry that's seen as the most liberal bastion of our country. i'm asking. >> are they diverse, and obviously not enough and so they have to start, the industry itself, has to start bringing in
10:07 am
kinds of diversity to that industry so that they have a bigger pool to pick from. >> well, clearly it's such an important issue, and it is -- it has divided the academy and its members so they have to do something about it and they are addressing it. >> it would be nice to see a f f non-african-american on non-color actors speak out, jessica chastain did a great speech last year where she did a great speech as well. >> absolutely. >> on the chris rock question, think about the impact. what has a bigger impact, him staying at home or on a stage in front of 100 million people around the world for ten minutes and making a commentary and also coming from him, a guy who has got a lifetime behind him of commentary about justice and race in america. that's the thrust of what he talks about. >> he's perfect person to be front and center on the issue and to be able to talk about it. february 28. >> front and center with steve harvey. >> gave you a little preview

egg and sperm are fertilized in a dish and then the embryo is implanted into the womb. >> right. >> in this technique what the british researchers have done is actually insert the egg and sperm and put it into a tiny capsule an put the capsule in the womb and allow fertilization to occur there, the idea being the capsule has little tiny holes in it so there's some symbiotic exchange of fluid between, you know, the embryo and the mother and then the capsule is taken out and the researchers then select the healthiest embryos and reimplant those -- reinsert for implantation. theyeyave done this in around 250 women internationally. they can't yet say whether or not the f-cassy is greater or less than traditional ivf but, again, the idea here is there might be some advantage to mother and baby to have the early exchange of fluids, that's the idea behind it. >> potential good news. the next development on the zika virus. for people who don't know what it is, the zika virus and what's the news in. >> the zika virus has been making headlines lately and the

we talked to our doctors about treatment with xarelto . xarelto is proven to treat and help reduce the risk of dvt and pe blood clots. xarelto is also proven to reduce the risk of stroke in people with afib, not caused by a heart valve problem. for people with afib currently well naged on warfarin, there is limited information on how xarelto and warfarin compare in reducing the risk of stroke. you know, taking warfarin, i had to deal with that blood testing routine. i couldn't have a healthy salad whenever i wanted. i found another way. yeah, treatment with xarelto . hey, safety first. like all blood thinners, don't stop taking xarelto without talking to your doctor, as this may increase your risk of a blood clot or stroke. while taking, you may bruise more easily and it may take longer for bleeding to stop. xarelto may increase your risk of bleeding if you take certain medicines. xarelto can cause serious and in rare cases, fatal bleeding. get help right away for unexpected bleeding, unusual bruising, or tingling. if you have had spinal anesthesia while on xarelto , watch for back pain or any nerve or muscle related signs or symptoms. do not take xarelto if you have an artificial heart valve or abnormal bleeding.

or dental procedures. before starting xarelto , tell your doctor about any kidney, liver, or bleeding problems. xarelto is the number one prescribed blood thinner in its class. well that calls for a round of kevin nealons. make mine an arnold palmer. same here. with xarelto there is no regular blood monitoring and no known dietary restrictions. treatment with xarelto was the right move for us. ask your doctor about xarelto .
