12:30 that's near gateway drive, behind gsp airport close to bmw. troopers say a tractor trailer hit a frozen patch, crossed the line, and hit a pick-up head-on. the crash pushed the pick-up into a van. troopers say one person in the pick-up and one person in the van had to be taken to the hospital. geoff: the greenville county coroner says carbon monoxide killed a couple in t the coroner tells us 86-year-old ruby bell and her 87-year-old husband robert were found dead at their home friday night. investigators say the couple lost power the day before. the coroner believes a running gas generator caused a carbon monoxide build-up in their home. mr. and mrs. bell were married more than 67 years. very sad story there. myra: unfortunate thing that happened with weather and power outages. dale: the ice buildup on cedars and firs brought down a lot

died. now to an update on a murder case from last march. deputies now say the victim killed by his neighbor. 53-year-old ralph kay is charged with murder. he's from anderson. deputies say 52-year-old gerald freeman died at his home on corning street in marc investigators say kay shot him multiple times. detectives tell us evidence on kay's shoe helped connect him to the murder. also in anderson county, deputies say a man knocked a woman to the ground an her purse, and then almost crashed into a deputy during the getaway. geoff: 57-year-old calvin davis is facing several charges, including attempted murder. deputies say davis snatched the purse, outside the ingles on highway 24 on friday, investigators say a witness followed davis, which led to a chase involving deputies. detectives say davis alm a deputy, before officials stopped his car at highways 187 and 29. myra: while flying over greenville county saturday sky 4 found some children out enjoying the snow. they were out sledding and trying to make the most of it

low 60's in the upstate and mid ahead. heavy snowfall from this weekend's historic blizzard bowling alley in a small northwest virginia town. officials say the roof buckled under the snowfall late saturday night. forecasters say about 22 inches blanketed the area. no one was hurt. fire officials have condemned the property until the owner decides whether or not he will rebuild. myra: the facade of a shopping center in stafford county, virginia came crashing down sunday. aerial video shows the front of the store where the wall appeared to separate from the building and fall. the region south of washington, d.c. got about two-feet of snow this weekend. there are no reports of injuries. geoff: heavy snow drifts caused several problems for fire and rescue crews in maryland and pennsylvania. the roof of an industrial

no one was hurt. a fire also broke out at an auto body shop in white marsh. officials say more than 100 firefighters battled the shooting flames. the national guard was needed to take crews to the scene and dig out fire hydrants because of the heavy amounts of snow. forecasters say over 30 inches of snow blanketed the area. the weekend snow storm burst a bubble for the washington redskins. the east coast blizzard dumped heavy, thick snow team's indoor practice facility in virginia. the weight caused its inflatable roof to collapseg part of the team name visible from the snow. the redskins say heavy snow and high winds caused the facility's deflation. the team says once conditions improve, it'll be re-inflated. myra: washington d.c. residents stuck inside ridin out the blizzard broke out to

the plane was diverted to st. john's, newfoundland, where the 7 were taken to the hospital. the boeing jet had 1 passengers and a crew of eleven on board. gas prices are at their lowest in seven years according to the lundberg survey. after a 14 sent drop over the past two weeks, the average price at the pump is $1.91 per gallon for regular gas. prices haven't been thi since january 2009 when they reached $1.86 per gallon. on friday oil prices bumped up pressuring refineries to raise their wholesale prices. if oil prices don't settle back down the price break could be short-lived. myra: are you guilty of making a report released today by creditcards.com finds over half of americans have bucks or more on an impulse buy.
