patrick: aly myles joins us to tell us more. aly: good morning. you can see the 85-380 five interchange behind me. today is expected to be the kickoff of the gateway project. there will be a groundbreaking that noon on woodruff road and it is expected to be the second-largest road project in scdot history. after the groundbreaking, construction is expected to get the full swing. the project involves creating a new interchange with lanes, ramps, bridges and while maintaining traffic. the widening of 385 will continue and there will be improvements to roper mountain road, woodruff road and other surrounding segues. officials are expected to hold the groundbreaking on woodruff road at noon today. the cost of the project is $231 million.
