1, 3. carol: icy roads in the upstate led to several fatal crashes last night. first, a deadly wreck involving

the coroner says clayborn jester was standing near an earlier wreck, when another vehicle hit him. officials say he was standing on the side of the interstate, and was knocked over a retaining wall, and killed. three others were also sent to the hospital as a result of the crash. police say a greenville officer responding to the first crash was one of the people injured. nigel: also in greenville county, a teen from easley died, following a crash with a tow truck in greenville last night. the coroner says 17-year-old lauryn agnew died from blunt force trauma, at the hospital. agnew was a senior at southside high school. the crash happened just before 8:30 last night, on verdae boulevard. highway patrol says agnew was traveling west when she hit an icy patch. her car crashed into a tow truck in the eastbound lane. the truck driver was taken to the hospital with injuries. no word on their condition. carol: in oconee county, a 63-year-old woman died after crashing her car on an icy road near walhalla this morning. the coroner says judy tilson crashed just before 6:00 this morning, on north highway 11. tilson died from blunt force chest trauma, at the hospital. the coroner says tilson had been on her way to work.

contributed to the crash. nigel: now to a taylors. a woman died after a crash yesterday. the coroner says a 60 or eight-year-old woman's suv hit another suv. highway patrol is investigating. more accidents early this morning before the sun rose in henderson in buncombe counties. carol: that is where aly myles was. she was there for the cleanup. aly: it was here, then it was gone. the sun came up, the temperatures rose. you can see, the ice turned into just a whole lot of water here in asheville. very wet roads, but for the most part, no more ice. but that wasn't the case around 6:00 a.m. icy bridges and slick sidewalks in hendersonville. just a few miles down the road, this. an early morning rollover, when the driver didn't see a patch of black ice. >> got pretty slick out there. had several accidents, but we've gotten by that, and today looks
