geoff: the anderson county chief deputy coroner says 62-year-old stephen burnett of easley died at the scene. here is a picture of the man deputies were chasing. 25-year-old dexter reeves. according to the coroner, reeves' car was turning onto highway 81 when it hit burnett's truck. reeves is receiving treatment at greenville memorial. allyson: in greenville, a person is recovering after being caught in the crossfire of a shooting. it happened on butler avenue yesterday afternoon. you're looking at sky 4 video now of that area. police say one person was injured by shattered glass. offifirs say gunshots were fired from two different cars. right now, nobody is in custody. geoff: more concerned about the cameras than the courtroom. this is how suspects accused of killing a teen acted in front of a judge.e. >> yeah, i got a question. what these cameras for? >> it's the news media. >> i've got a question.

you can follow me on twitter or instagram, or snapchat. geoff: they were all about social media. albert taylor is accused of shooting 17-year-old kejuan brown at tri-city lanes in easley last night. jamari fair, dennis gibbs, and a fifteen-year-old are also charged in the case. police say there had been an argument over social media and the group went to the bowling alley to fight. allyson: in pickens county, an upstate judge says he needs more time to make a decision about a coal ash landfill. the attorney representing the north carolina company told the judge they're on a deadline to place a bid this month. the project includes dumping coal ash in the landfill at highway 93 and cartee road. the waste is shown to contain toxic chemicals. the county's attorney accused mrr of working behind the backs of county officials to submit changes to dehec. mrr denies the claims of deceit. geoff: into a state issue now.

services continues struggling with high caseloads, despite hiring 170 new caseworkers. unofficial said this week that some workers are responsible for more than 50 children. one in anderson county is responsible for 119 children. the official is evaluating how many more uighurs are needed. -- how many more workers are needed. allyson: the so-called affluenza teen will appear in court this morning to learn whether his case will be moved to adult court. ethan couch was moved from a tarrant county juvenile facility to an adult jail two weeks ago. couch was 16-years-old when he drove drunk and caused a crash that killed four people in dallas. if a judge moves the case to adult court and he violates probation, couch could be sent to prison. geoff: justice antonin scalia's body will be laid in repose today in the great hall of the supreme court building. a private ceremony will be held before the public is invited to

this honor was last given to chief justice william rehnquist in 2005. as part of supreme court tradition, a black drape is also hung over the courtroom doors, scalia's chair on the bench, and the bench itself. the funeral is expected to be held on saturday. allyson: a 16-year-old boy is in critical condition after a helicopter made a crash landing in the waters of pearl harbor, hawaii. good samaritans who saw the crash jumped in the water to rescue the five people on board. first responders rushed to the scene and transported the pilot and four passengers to hospitals. no word yet on what caused the crash landing. the navy said the helicopter is owned by genesis aviation, a company that gives helicopter tours of oahu. the federal aviation administration is expected to investigate. geoff: the fbi searches a california home connected to a relative of one of the san bernardino shooters. the home, tied to the brother of shooter syed farook, has been searched before. but thursday, federal agents were seen carrying out a box of things and a computer.
