dale: yesterday, we got almost one inch and one third at gsp. a little bit of this and the i-85 and north area in our coverage area, but all of the coverage area is highlighted in green because of a lash blood watch. that means they are saturated already and we get heavy downpours tonight and tomorrow morning. a couple of inches of rain fall in short period of time could lead to flooding, so watch out for flood prone areas, especially tomorrow morning. we are seen that light to moderate rain now. here comes the big load that tomorrow morning will kick up thunderstorms, and thenenhings will clear up by tomorrow afternoon. temperatures ranging from 47 in greenville to 44 nashville. low 50's in the piedmont. daytime highs will climb a few

the northeasterly breeze will lock temperatures in. about the best for the upstate will be low 50's this afternoon for highs and upper 40's for the mountains. stormy weather starts overnight tonight and into tomorrow morning. allyson: thank you. a live look now outside. be careful on the roads this morning. if you come across water and all, give yourself 20th of time to make your commute. geoff: surprised to see how many people are on the road already. now, to a deadly crash in spartanburg. a moped collided with a tow truck. the coroner says the wreck happened yesterday afternoon at the intersection of north pine street and east daniel morgan avenue. keith harrelson was killed in the wreck. he was riding a moped. police say a tow truck stopped in front of him to make a turn. they say harrelson rear-ended with the tow truck. allyson: to pickens county now, the autopsy results were released on a woman whose body was found by fishermen.

near saluda lake off buckskin road. officials now say after an autopsy monday, that reza khan was shot in the head and killed. the coroner has ruled it a homicide. deputies are trying to figure out who she was with saturday night. investigators have not made any arrests as of now. they ask you call crimestoppers with any information. geoff: police now say the reported shooting at columbiana centre mall may not have involved any gunshots at all. police say that they haven't found any shell casings and witnesses who originally reported seeing two men fire aren't as confident about their stories. authorities say they found a book bag in the woods with airsoft guns, which look like real guns. police also are seeking more surveillance video from stores. hundreds of people either ran away or hid in stores after people said they saw men shooting. allyson: to henderson county, 350 new jobs. g.f. linamar plans to build a brand new manufacturing facility there. north carolina governor pat mccrory was on site for the announcement yesterday.

-- demise of our unique character and opens us up to the highest bidder. >> i think this plan has been approved by the vast majority of people who live in the area, who work in the area and who own property in the area. aly: quik trip says it held over 25 neighborhood meetings while designing its plans. officials say once the city approves those plans, construction is expected to take about six months. aly myles wyff news 4 live in greenville's west end. geoff: 5:35 now. and update now to the coal ash dispute in pickens county. an upstate judge has ruled against the north carolina company. mrr is suing pickens county for $25 million, saying the county can not prevent it from using the landfill for coal ash. in the meantime, the company filed a motion to stop pickens from delaying its plans. a judge denied the motion yesterday and ruled mrr could not dump any coal ash while the case goes forward. county officials say the landfill is for construction debris only.

permission from d-hec to dump coal ash. allyson: two development projects are one step closer to coming to downtown spartanburg. last night, spartanburg city council approved the first reading of a plan that would sell two pieces of city-owned land to developers for a dollar each. the plan has to undergo one more reading. one developer is proposing retail space and 30 apartments at the corner of daniel morgan and west main. another developer is proposing 50,000 square feet of office space in the area behind the george dean johnson school of business. existing business owners say they're excited about the progress. >> people come in here all the time and they'll go, we haven't been downtown in years, so everything that's going to happen, it's going to generate more interest in coming downtown which should help everybody , overall.. allyson: the corner of daniel morgan and west main is currently a parking lo the city plans to make up for the loss in spaces by offering 65 spaces at the corner of spring and broad streets. geoff: happening today, seneca officials are expected to

memorial cross on city property. this cross was built into a stone wall along a patio outside seneca's water treatment plant. it's to memorialize chuck keeler, a worker who fell while helping to build the plant. the freedom from religion foundation says the memorial should be religiously neutral. keeler's daughter says the fight against it opens up wounds that haven't had time to heal. >> it's just disrespectful to my father and disrespectful to my family. we've suffered enough, and i think that it needs to end. we don't need to suffer anymore. >> the display of a cross on government property is unconstitutional because it shows preference for one religion over all other religions. geoff: city officials are expected to go straight into executive session on this matter during a work session tonight. allyson: another showdown for the republican presidential candidates, today. today is the nevada caucus. on the final day of campaigning,

for editing. the finished product can be viewed with a gear v.r. headset. samsung invited facebook ceo mark zuckerberg on stage during its presentation to help promote the partnership between the two firms. geoff: the irs is warning you to be on the look out for tax-related e-mail scams this tax season. the irs says that tax related e-mail scams have surged 400% this tax season. the e-mails look like they're coming from the federal agency, but the irs wants people to know that they normally reach out to taxpayers through regular mail not email. allyson: toys "r" us has decided to pull all hoverboards from its website. the company said it stopped selling the hovertrax hoverboard out of an abundance of caution. the move comes after the consumer protection safety commission said no hoverboard on the market meets its safety standards. they say the toy poses an unreasonable risk of fire. geoff: u.s. health officials say people exposed to certain types
