we begin with a developing story out of greenville county. rescue crews have spent the night searching for a missing 12-year-old boy in jones gap state park. deputies are searching for john quay, investigators say he was hiking with a group of boy scouts in the park, the group discovered he was missing during a headcount. that was yesterday afternoon. crews have spent the night searching for the boy on the ground and by helicopter. now we are all concerned about , safety and our main focus is , to try and find him as quickly as possible. myra: crews are also concerned about the cold overnight as they are searching. if you see quay, or can help authorities find him you are asked to call the greenville county sheriff's office. we will continue to follow this story and bring you updates on air, online and on the wyff 4 mobile app. turning to commitment 2016 this morning, the votes are in for south carolina. hillary clinton is the winner of the state's democratic primary. here's a look at the south

and that is roughly a third of those needed for the democratic nomination, and that's how important super tuesday is this week. myra: in greenville county, more than voters went to the polls. 30,000last week, there were roughly 93,000 people in the county voted during the republican primary. wyff news four's corey davis has more from election headquarters . >> election officials have put the finishing touches on organizing all of the ballots that came in. we talked with voters at a few locations, including the sterling school, and carolina high school strong democratic , precincts. those locations had a combined total of roughly 600 people who came out to vote. >> i'm voting for bernie sanders because he understands the real issues with the black community especially. >> i've heard all of the comments and everything and i think she's best suited for the job. she will try to finish what president obama has started. >> lots of views from voters

support behind hillary clinton. why is that? >> both of the clintons have a long history of addressing areas concerning african-americans. i think senator sanders does as well, but he is not nearly well as known as the clintons. myra: what exactly is it that they have done that has resonated with the african-american community? >> they have stood up for african-americans. secretary clinton had five mothers of african-americans killed recently. they also always supported programs that try to reduce poverty. i think those are things that resonate with african-americans. myra: we will check back with you a little later with what is

myra: this has been a very busy time for the republican presidential candidates as well, especially after the fiery debate in texas earlier this week. ted cruz and marco rubio went after donald trump yesterday in georgia hoping to set themselves , apart. both released several years of tax return information yesterday, as pressure grows for donald trump to do the same. donald trump spent yesterday in arkansas and tennessee. one day after he got a big boost and support from new jersey governor chris christie. trump also addressed his tax returns, saying he will keep them under wraps, until his irs audits are finished. john kasich was with supporters yesterday in nashville for a town hall. dr. ben carson spent time in

washington newsroom. good morning. let's start with the results here in south carolina, hillary clinton won nearly triple the votes of bernie sanders yesterday. is this race over? >> not yet, but it is getting mighty close. south carolina has been added to go early. in order to prove the you could be a solid democratic candidate, you have to be able to win a diverse group of voters. not just white voters. hillary clinton dominates african-americans. women, she got five times as many votes as sanders. he has pulled her to the left. he may stay in the race, something to finish his message. unless something dramatically changes on tuesday, super tuesday, she would be the clear nominee.

the biggest voting day of the primary season, what should we be looking for? >> as clinton said yesterday, this is now going national. we're talking about one third of the country voting. keep your eye on the republican side. marco rubio, if he does not win any of the states, he would be going into next week over 17. the biggest pot of delegates is in texas, ted cruz's home state. if ted cruz cannot knock off donald trump in his own state, his campaign may be over. myra: donald trump winning here. can he be stopped? >> the map is getting harder and harder. we will know in 72 hours, wednesday morning. the opposition research is out there.

more showers possible on friday. myra: no lows in the 20's. that's nice. pamela: a baby step. myra: we go to asheville now where police want to know who fired shots at a woman, after a near traffic collision. police said the incident happened early friday morning along tunnel road near swannanoa river road. the woman told police she was in a near collision with the suspect. he tried to fire at her. police said when the tried to stop the driver he sped away. , investigators are looking for a gold kia suv. police believe he is from the haw creek or tunnel road area. anyone that can help police find the suspect or vehicle, are asked to call the asheville police. in greenville county the search , continues for a double murder suspect, who is on the run. bradford williams stands accused of shooting and killing two people at a nightclub in he was 2014. released from jail in january with a ankle monitoring device as part of the home

records show he cut off his ankle monitor thursday morning. deputies say williams has friends and family in the anderson county. if you see him you're asked to call 911. let's cover the nation now. and killed in virginia, her first day on the job. officer ashley guindon was fatally shot while responding to a domestic-shooting in prince william county. these have the shooter in custody, but the investigation continues. the officer graduated with a bachelor's degree in aeronautics and served in the marine corps, before joining the police force. she was sworn in on friday. kids out in the street said they heard the gunshots and ran inside. >> i was walking up the street with three other people, and we heard three to four gun shots,the officer graduated with a so we started running, and then when we got up here we saw all the cops and we were trying to come home. they told us to go inside.

also shot at the scene. police say they were wounded. they are being treated for their injuries, but there is no word on how severe their conditions are. bloodshed at a kkk rally in anaheim, california. police arrested 13 people after klansmen and counter-protesters clashed, leading to three stabbings and another attack. at a planned kkk demonstration, police say klansmen were greeted by counter-protesters who immediately attacked the group, setting off a chain of violent confrontations. according to authorities, three-counter protesters were stabbed in separate incidents. at least two people in custody face charges for assault with a deadly weapon. hundreds of balloons were released into the michigan sky to honor the victims of last week's victims in kalamazoo. hundreds gathered to honor

the father and son were shot and killed in the dealership parking lot when jason dalton went on a five hour shooting spree last saturday. hundreds of balloons were released into the air as a moment of silence was held. the crowd also honored the four other people killed and two other people injured. more than a hundred pythons like these have been caught in the florida everglades since last month. they were captured as part of the state's annual python challenge. the snake hunt drew more than a thousand people. the goal is to reduce the burmese python population in the everglades, where the pythons are an invasive species. the largest python caught this year was 15 feet long, and wade 125 pounds.
