injuries are not life-threatening. now, a wyff news 4 update on a fire in honea path. the 5-year-old girl pulled from the fire died from her injuries. allyson: wyff news 4's aly myles joins us live from the scene of the fire on green street. aly: a devastating time, not just for the family but for the community. i'm in front of that home which burned sunday night. you can see the damage to the house. you can still see charred remains from my the house caught on fire. the news for the family has gotten worse. the anderson county coroner says 5-year-old sophia rhodes has died from her injuries. fire officials tell us the child was found between a wall and a couch in the home. the little girl was rushed to the burn unit in augusta. she died monday night of smoke inhalation. friends of the family say sophia was the youngest of five children. aly myles wyff news 4 live in

allyson: an update now out of cleveland county, north carolina, where a husband and wife were killed in a house explosion. family members say j.b. and naomi newton died when a vehicle hit a propane tank on east stagecoach trail. the driver of the vehicle had non-life threatening injuries. neighbors say there have been other accidents at that curved section of the road. geoff: in spartanburg county, the coroner now says the four usc upstate students killed in a crash in october had been drinking alcohol. the incident happened on fourth street near boiling springs. one of the five students in the car survived. the toxicology report released yesterday show the driver james campbell and two others had a blood alcohol content above the legal limit. the coroner says he needed guidance from the state attorney general before giving out the results because some families didn't want them released. allyson: a union county teacher resigned after she says a student sent nude photos of her to other students. leigh anne arthur was a mechatronics teacher at union county high school. she tells us she took partially nude photos of herself to give

she says a student took her phone off her desk, went through her photos and sent them to other students. the school district says she's to blame because her phone was accessible. >> where are you putting the moral of the student? he had to hit my apps button and to open up all my apps and then open my gallery. allyson: the sheriff's office is investigating if the student will be charged. geoff: at easley high school, a teacher has resigned after complaints about a poem he wrote and shared with students. gregory fish would hold classes with advanced placement english literature students at the starving artist cafe. earlier this month, he shared a poem that used the f-word. parents of easley students said it was sexually explicit. mr. fish resigned after being placed on administrative leave, but some students say it's unfair he's gone. students said a sit-in they planned for tuesday has been cancelled at the request of mr.

cafeteria monday. two students were shot and two others were hurt while trying to get away. again, their injuries are not life threatening. officers say the gunman was taken into custody near school grounds. geoff: virginia police officer ashley guindon to be laid to rest today. her body was escorted by dozens of police cars and motorcycles monday night to hylton memorial chapel. that's where her funeral service will be held at noon. the prince william county officer was shot and killed in the line of duty last saturday. it was her first day on patrol. she and two other officers were responding to a domestic violence call when she was shot. turning to nashville now and the casesenvolving the secret nude video of erin andrews. yesterday, she gave an emotional testimony. >> probably for like three months everybody thought it was a publicity stunt. the front page of "the new york
