Takeshi's Castle (1986)
Takeshi's Castle (Japanese: 風雲！たけし城, Hepburn: Fūun! Takeshi-jō, literally Turbulence! Takeshi Castle) is a Japanese game show that aired between 1986 and 1990 on the Tokyo Broadcasting System (TBS). It features the Japanese comedian Takeshi Kitano (also known as Beat Takeshi) as a count who owns a castle and sets up difficult physical challenges for players (or a volunteer army) to get to him. The show became a cult television hit around the world.[2] It was highly influential on global popular culture, inspiring a genre of game shows involving physical challenges and painful entertainment, as well as other media.

Really bad when compared to the originals. The episodes are all cut up Frankenstein versions of the originals, including missing bits and context entirely. Season 1 Episode 10 for example is episode 100 of the original, aka the Fighting Spirit Award Winners Special. The original is 46 minutes long, the dubbed version posted here is 22 minutes. This dubbed episode never once mentions that all of the contestants are previous Fighting Spirit Award winners, which is pretty central to the episode and heightens the experience. It's still funny watching people smash their face, so I'll give it that at least.
