kpix5's andrea nakano is live outside city hall with the latest numbers. hey, andrea. >> reporter: brian, as of friday afternoon less than 500 votes separated supervisor london breed and mark leno. we just got updated numbers about an hour ago and it appears supervisor breed has widened her lead. here is how the numbers break down as of 4:00 this afternoon. london breed has 103,388 votes which is 50.38% of the vote. mark leno comes in with 101,808 votes which is 49.62% of the vote. with that said it is too soon to declare a winner. john arnst, director of the department of elections, said there are roughly 20,000 more votes to count in this mayor's race and because it's coming down to ballots that made a little more handling the counting process has slowed down quite a bit. there's a lot more work to do before declaring a winner. >> we make sure all the cards eligible are counted and move through the process. at the very end i'll certify and send the result to the board. the board of supervisors declares the results of the election. after the board declare
