jose: i actually am a robot. ira: one of the other things we have to consider is the global environment here as well. you look at europe. you have brexit bringing up a lot of uncertainty. europe is not as robust as many of us thought. when you have yields globally coming down when we thought maybe in europe they would be going up, the fact we don't have 1% yields in germany today, i don't think many people had that in their forecast. even if they were bullish on the u.s. market compared to consensus like i have been. but i think that's an important thing we have to notice. german yields are going to be helping u.s. treasury yields for at least the next 18 months. jose: that is the curve flattener we have seen. arising talked about this on your show and others, where we continue to see tremendous demand. you look at the spread between bonds and bunds, you could drive a truck through that. 270 basis points and we think that is persistent. because of the strength and consistency of demand here relative to the incons

san jose currently 59 and foggy. it's foggy obviously at our salesforce tower camera, 60 degrees in san francisco, 61 in concord. plan on fog tomorrow morning. once we begin to clear things out, we'll have foggy conditions a couple hours vallejo, redwood city and fremont all around 52 degrees. the active pattern we've had for the past three days temporarily will leave. all indications are it's coming back next week perhaps for the next two weeks, but for a few days, the weekend, maybe putting up some christmas or holiday lights, you will get good weather because this ridge of high pressure will temporarily help send the storm track to the north, but there are other storms coming and the storm track will return toward the middle of next week. time it out on futurecast, showers gone likely earlier than 9:00, but we stopped it here showing clouds in the morning, some sunshine in the afternoon, partly sunny skies tomorrow. on sunday an earlier start to the sunshine and should be mainly sunny and milder by the afternoon.

a group of fishermen spotted a body saturday near the boat lodge in san jose. that is a few miles from levi stadium. 32-year-old ian powers vanished during last monday night's game at levi's. he there was with his family, but when he went to the bathroom, powers never came back. he was later seen on surveillance video walking along the gate c footbridge toward the parking lot. that bridge crosses the creek which runs into the bay. the body found at the marina is awaiting identification. >>> an unarmed man dies after a confrontation with san mateo sheriff's office and the family says the video contradicts his death in. a lengthy facebook post today the man's sister said it does not describe the way her brother behaved when he died. last month deputies say the 36- year-old was running in and out of traffic on el camino real and that's when he assaulted a responding deputy. >>> we have new details on google's push to build a campus in downtown san jose. kpix5's len ramirez gives us a unique look at the deal google has just struck with the city. >> reporter: these

san jose begins to fall into a rain shadow 7:00 a.m.orrow morning we'll have a pretty wet commute. especially for the north bay. if you notice, it kind of lingers around all day friday. then we get a couple of showers into early saturday morning. estimated rain totals right now still tracking upwards of 2 inches through the north bay down through oakland just over an inch and down through palo alto over half an inch through there. but there is a wind advisory in effect at 4:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. friday in the north bay mountains because of strong, gusty conditions that will come with this second round of storms. we're talking potentially upwards of 30 miles an hour. there is a flash flood watch for the fire burn scars in chico and paradise area. we're talking into thursday and friday now. potentially seeing upwards of, look at this number go up, over 6 inches of rain for paradise. that brings a concern for debris flow, unfortunately mudslides for all of those burn scars. here's a look at your next seven days in san francisco and your

highs around san jose mid-60s.r 60s south of san jose for the next couple of afternoons. low 60s around san francisco and mid-60s into the north bay. so other than the low clouds, no real rain producing clouds out there, that is still lurking offshore and a very energetic system offshore. look at the wave forecast as we get into monday and tuesday. you see the ocean swell here approaching the coast, some of the ocean swell heights will approach 14 to 16, maybe up to 18 feet. so could see some high surf advisories approaching tuesday and wednesday. so surf is one part of the story. rain making a comeback on tuesday. light to moderate rain with that first system, and then storm two develops during the day wednesday, turning windy, progressively more rainy wednesday night through thursday and it looks like we should see a break friday and then another storm starts to approach come saturday. maybe some north bay showers on saturday, and saturday night into sunday we begin to see this next band push on through, and then

san jose rescued that driver., folks, it only takes six inches to reach the bottom of those passenger cars. that's when you stall or lose control. a foot of water will make most cars float. it's no wonder we're seeing so much flooding in the south bay because this is how hard the rain was coming down in campbell. the south bay often sees the rain shadow effect where we miss the bulk of the heaviest rain but that wasn't the case this time. and we know that there is flooding all around the bay area. 6 inches of rain to move your car up to the bottom of your doorjamb. that's not a lot if you're passing through a low lying area like this one. a lot of storm drains with a lot of leaves. do be aware of that and make sure you sweep out the ones near your home if you don't want a flood where you live. we'll break down and head over to the area where the power is out. we've been reporting this morning, we'll head over and see what's going on and make sure you know what you need to know this morning. in san jose, kris sanch
