ending its partnership with planned parenthood, a story burning up the internet since it broke just a few hours ago. new at 11, matt jablo joins us from the web isn'ter with more. >> reporter: a this a, the susan g. komen organization as you well know the host of races for the cure all across country gave about $700,000 last year to 19 planned parenthood affiliates for breast cancer screenings and related services. they gave about 600,000 the year before. however, a few hours ago it was made public that susan g. komen will not be giving any money to planned parenthood for the foreseeable future. the breast cancer charity says it made the decision in the way congress is investigating the way planned parenthood spends the federal dollars received. the vents it gaze was launched a few months ago. a spokeswoman said the organization recently adopted a policy not to give money to groups under local, state or federal investigation. for their part, however, planned parenthood directors furious about the cutback in funding say susan g. komen is giving into pressure from anti- abortion groups. our
