a walk along the river walk in tampa, down the hillsborough river, out towards the hillsborough bay into tampa bay. as you're walking down there, it was amazing to see that sort of draw of the water being pulled away and out because of the hurricane. so, because of that, there was a lot lot of marshy, swampy part no one has ever seen before. it's been over 90 years since a hurricane hit here in tampa. a lot of people were going out to look at that. i did check in with the police department. they said they didn't have any issues with that. they didn't have to do any arrests since the curfew has been enacted since 6:00 p.m. eastern. that's going to be as long as the storm is raging here in tampa. obviously, we vaebt even gotten the brunt here. i also checked in with the county. they say they have 28,000 people in shelters. they said they still had space but at this point they don't have space. like everyone has been saying, don't come out here. we're out here so you can see it and you don't have to do it.
