. >>> we'll check in now with news 4's aaron gilchrist. aaron? >> a mysterious death in maryland. state medical exan now saying a mother and two daughters who were found dead in hagerstown died from heat stroke, accidental heat stroke. we told you about this back in mid june, when a car was found at the parking lot at western heights middle school there in hagerstown. police were able to determine that a 32-year-old woman and her two baby daughters, 18-month-old and 6-month-old were found dead in this car for no apparent reason, they were in this parking lot. police had said that they knew the mother had park there had early, early that morning in the 6:00 hour and they found her and her children in the car around 4:00 in the afternoon, knowing the day had gotten up to 90 degrees or so. the medical examiner is saying the cause of death is accidental heat stroke as temperatures got very high in that area. no word as to why the mother drove to that school, to that parking lot where she and her two daughters died. barbara? >> thank you, aaron. right now, we're waiting to hear what pe

let's go to aaron gilchrist at the live desk. >> reporter: police chief tom jackson held a very short news conference, he handed out some paperwork that detailed an armed robbery that happened in the minutes before the shooting of michael brown and then quickly announced the name of the officer that shot him. >> the officer that was involved in the shooting of michael brown was darren wilson. he's been a police officer for six years, has had no disciplinary action. >> he also noted that officer wilson had no disciplinary action in the time that he'd been with the police department. jackson added that wilson was injured as well in the encounter with michael brown. the statement followed another night of protests that remained largely calm after missouri state police took charge of security. our affiliate in st. louis did report this morning that three officers were hit with rocks last night and several police vehicles were damaged as well. no arrests were made. this all, of course, comes after officer wilson shot and killed 18-year-old michael brown on saturday, which led to a national

aaron gilchrist has more from the live desk. >>> barbara, that news conference still going on as we speak. the family of michael brown, really the team of attorneys and doctors working on this case, on behalf of the family, holding that news conference. you're looking live now as the medical examiner, a former new york city medical examiner, dr. michael baden, is explaining this diagram that he prepared after doing the autopsy on michael brown. he has said that michael brown was shot six times. four times in the arm, twice in the head. this was the assistant who helped perform the autopsy, the man you see on screen here. and dr. baden was able it determine that he says that michael brown was shot twice in the back of the head, shot from behind. listen to what the attorneys had to say a moment ago. >> it verifies that the witness accounts were true. that he was shot multiple times, and there's t's one of those thing that we have to get all the witness statements out and look at all the autopsies, all the evidence it put this picture together. >> this private autopsy ordered bay the family
