i'm aaron gilcrist. >> i'm angie goff in for eun yang.are getting you ready to get out the door on this tuesday. depending where you live the roads could already be wet. melissa mollet has a check on the commute. >> the forecast with chuck bell and sheena >> it feels really nice. it is officially that time of the year. the cherry blossoms for whatever is going to constitute peak blooming period, it is happening now. it started on saturday and we r keeping them -- i took these pictures yesterday by the tidal basin. what looks really nice from afar, that same tree when i took a closeup picture, these are not in shadow. these are the frozen cherry blossom petals. you can see the weeping cherry tree under the 14th street bridge. look at that. 20 or 25% of the blossoms able to hold on after all of those freezes. between the rain drops today and wednesday, thursday will be your last best chance to see what we have. there's another chance of rain on friday. today though we're tracking chances for rain. thunder showers down across central virgini
