he panned and zoomed into aaron hernandez who was parked in the north parking lot of the attleboro police department several hours after the body of odin lloyd was found. the detective says he zooms in to hernandez to see what hernandez was doing in the car. he testifies he watches hernandez break his cell phone into three parts. he then uses another cell phone. and then the video shows aaron hernandez putting his phone back together, perhaps to retrieve a number, that's what the prosecution is saying, and then uses that cell phone to make a phone call. this is all video that was recorded in the parking lot of the north attleboro police department. earlier that evening, police went to aaron hernandez's house. he later goes to the department to answer questions. before he answers questions, the detective testifies that he waited 45 minutes for his attorney to show u. and the man who was in the car with hernandez was actually the attorney who was representing him at the time. but that is a fact that the jury is not aware of. they do not know it was the attorney who gave aaron hernandez that

aaron hernandez breaks apart his cell phone into three pieces.y will then also see video of him reassembling that cell phone and retrieves a number and then using a different phone. prosecution says he's using that other phone to call earnest wallace. the judge says that the jury will see two parts of the video. one, aaron hernandez breaks down the cell phone and puts it back together. two, they'll know he uses a different cell phone to make that call. what they won't see is what happens in between. aaron hernandez's attorney at the time someone no longer representing him in court, is the person who handed over that cell phone, carol. this is being left out. the defense argued that this video shouldn't be shown because there was attorney/client privilege. but judge garsh ruled there was no violation of attorney/client privilege and that aaron hernandez was sitting in a parked car at a police station. a well lit parking lot. visible there was a surveillance camera outside of that building. there's really no reason to believe he should have had exp

and where the defense attorneys are going, they're trying to show when aaron hernandez found out thatn lloyd died that he was shaken up by the information. it's something that upset him as well. it's something that the defense is using, again to show the relationship between the two. >> to your point, the relationship between the two continues to be the focus here. the defense attorney introduced into evidence pictures of aaron hernandez and odin lloyd hanging out again. this seems to be at least as the testimony has resumed, the focus, how well did these two men know each other? >> right. the prosecutors during their methodical initial examination of her were trying to show that these guys were distant, they barely knew each other, they were starting to get to know each other. as the defense is doing just the opposite in showing, wait, these guys were out partying together, going to family gatherings and this has been going on for months. these guys were buddies and there's no way aaron hernandez would have done this to his buddy. >> thank you very much. greatly appreciate you joinin

and the women who cleaned aaron hernandez's home have been testifying for a couple of days now about they saw, what they found and what they put back where they found it inside his home. including this, hernandez's fiancee carrying a black trash bag the day after odin lloyd was murdered and then putting that trash bag in the trunk of her sister's car. prosecutors are alleging that she was removing evidence from that home, potentially really important evidence like a murder weapon. susan candiotti is outside the courthouse in fall river, massachusetts. hln legal analyst and defense attorney joey jackson is here with me in new york. first to you, susan, update me as to what else these maids have been telling the court about what they saw and what they thought about what they saw. >> reporter: i'll tell you, one of the latest things they talked about is what you just mentioned. we've heard about the existence of this videotape but now we're seeing it for the very first time. and prosecutors used one of the maids who cleans the house to talk about it. on this videotape, you see shayanna

painful day, shaneah jenkins watches herself on security camera visiting the home of tight end aaron hernandeznkins is hugging hernandez's fiance older sister shayanna after learning odin lloyd has been shot dead less than a mile away from the hernandez home. shanieah testifies hernandez is in the house that day also. >> did he seem shaken up? >> he seemed stressed. >> reporter: nine days later, hernandez is arrested for lloyd's murder. the murder weapon is still missing. prosecutors show jurors home surveillance photos of hernandez's fiance holding something in her hands. >> this item that she is holding, you know what that is? >> the black trash bag? >> reporter: authorities suspect hernandez's fiance sitting behind him in court uses the trash bag to hide the missing murder weapon inside a box and throwing it away after getting a coded message from hernandez. his defense team questions jenkins and how much time lloyd spent with hernandez. jenkins telling jurors it was mainly during visits with older center. hernandez once treating them to a sky box for patriots preseason home game. lloyd on

this sounds like a woman who was pro-aaron hernandez, essentially. judge, after a lengthy discussion this morning, first as a side bar, then dismissing throwing everybody out of the courtroom, hearing evidence and testimony from individuals who came in. one of them may have been a state trooper. this woman, the judge said was wanted to be on this case had made specific references and talked about the case over the last two years, specifically telling someone that the absence of a weapon made it hard for any jury to come to a conclusion or to find him guilty. also saying that she had attended more patriots games than she had indicated on the juror questionnaire. and saying that the recollections of her conversations with certain individuals just were not supported by the facts. in order to get a fair trial and make sure this woman didn't taint the rest of the jury or the process, got to kick her right out. brooke? >> what happens next? minus this juror, do they pop in an alternate? is anyone talking about a mistrial? >> reporter: well no one is talkin

they get on the bus and show up at aaron hernandez's home? there things off-limits allowed free reign to walk through his house. i'm confused and interested in what they'll be able to see. >> no two jury views are the same. the prosecution wanted permission to go before hand last night i suppose, and take a look to make sure nothing has been moved around or monkeyed with. so now the question is it's a very good question. can a juror use the bathroom if they want to? they've been instructed to wear boots because of the weather. can they tramp around in the house and go wherever they like? it's a logistical problem. most of them are denied. >> in this case, does it help one side more than another? >> each side if they want it must have purpose. the trophy case is a great example. there's been all this fighting about whether or not the jurors can see this trophy case. my understanding of judge garsh's order is anything in the house prior can be viewed but anything added to the house has to be moved or covered up. anything after 2013 somebody sor

first, moments ago in the trial of aaron hernandez.he former nfl star but also his home. this is video that has just come in from cnn here. members of the jury were brought to hernandez's home and the man he allegedly murdered his friend odin lloyd. they toured the industrial park where lloyd's body was found. this is part of the prosecution's case here to prove the former new england patriot who used to be worth $40 million orchestrated this killing in 2013. we have susan who went on that trip to hernandez's home. she's standing out in the cold massachusetts for us. we have criminal analyst and defense attorney danny. how incredible to be going along as a member of the media. tell me where they let you go and what you saw. >> reporter: well brooke it was very restricted. first of all in the state of massachusetts, it's normal for a jury in murder trials to visit various locations that both sides believe are important to the case. that's what happened here. we were not allowed to take any pictures period of the jury. we were also not a

the aaron hernandez jury escorted by bus in a police motorcade for an up close view of evidence thatmake it easier to understand the case. in court, prosecutors give a preview. >> we're going to direct your attention to a cell tower that's located in that area. >> reporter: the jury sees four cell phone towers that prosecutors say generate signals along the route, the former patriot tight end takes the odin lloyd the night he's murdered. next stop outside odin lloyd's home. during the jury tour prosecutors point out a security camera at the house across the street. it captures this surveillance video of lloyd getting into a car investigators say is driven by hernandez. hernandez is not allowed, but the jury gets to see, prosecutors say odin lloyd is found in this industrial park. after about 15 minutes, they head for hernandez's neighborhood. the jury's bus tour winding up here at aaron hernandez's tour they're inside right now, both prosecutors and defense wanting to show off the home security system which includes at least 12 cameras. it's going to be critical evidence in this tria
