thanks for having me. >> rebecca: aaron hernandez, a new england patriots star, convicted of murder,am given, find the humanity in it, right? so the show does a really good job, i think it provides emotional context for the viewer, you know. it is not to excuse or justify, but give the background you wouldn't otherwise get from more factual-based mediums like a documentary or news cycle. >> rebecca: with the news so many followed this story in the news. we covered it a lot here. what is it like, you played some lovely characters in the past. what's it like to play such a notorious character? >> actor: it was a cool challenge, there was obviously a lot of information to look at, and there's an existing perspective, too. you know a lot of people know the story, a lot of people have opinions about it; so the interesting challenge was, you know, i can't really copy that and imitate what i think people want to see. i have to find the disposition or like an essence that's compatible with the outlook on it, so i can also take steps to ... to tell the larger story, you know? >> rebecca: let'

sequela of this that we've seen in recent years had to do with the former patriots tight end aaron hernandezcted of murder and ultimately committed suicide in prison at autopsy, he had horrible and he was still a young man. he had horrible look at college football players, about a third of college football players have reported at least one concussion so this is this is not a contact sport, is a collision and the nfl is working really hard to try and reduce the number of concussions as evidenced by the changes that they've made in the kickoff rules but all that is basically geared to try and prevent run backs. of concussions during a run back hasn't really changed because you huge incredibly fast other yeah. >> and i have to ask you, dr. reiner, if you were to his doctor, what would you tell him to do i tell him to tell him to retire. you responsibility is to the health and not just now, but he's very young man for the night next his next 60 years. >> and if you think about, you know, old-time boxers who called punch drunk, that's the cumulative effect of multiple repetitive brain injuries.
