so it is time to start thinking about the weed abatement. i know different cities, counties have different dates that are upcoming over the next eight to 12 weeks. so, again, something to just put into the back of your mind. as we start it off with our satellite radar picture, this looks impressive, right. but on second glance here, what you're going to notice is there is no rainfall offshore. even though we have a system that's developing and is going to move in, no rainfall. it will be dry for us. and it's also going to kick up the wind. thankfully we got some rainfall. a couple of inches this month. that's helping us with the immediate fire danger. but this wind will always elevate our fire danger with our drought in place. i want to spend some time on the hourly wind forecast. there is a lot happening on here. you can see the key at the top. that's going to be the wind primarily in the mountains. i've got numbers here to represent the lower elevations. and there is also a wind arrow to show you how the wind is going to be moving in. now
