let's go to abc 7's tiffany wilson. >> that's right. right across the street from where that fire began. you can see firefighters going into the building right there behind me. that three-alarm fire is now out. the firefighters expect to be here overnight, though, watching and looking for any hot spots. and just making sure that nobody goes into these buildings. early reports had as many as 50 people being displaced. i just spoke with the assistant fire chief who says it's closer to 20 to 25 people displaced. there are members of the red cross standing next to me. so they are here on scene trying to assist those displaced individuals as best as they can. the assistant fire chief tells me no one was injured but one dog is still missing. the three-alarm fire began around 8:00 this evening. and the initial firefighters who arrived on scene found flames shooting out of the garage and the first floor. that fire quickly escalated to a second and then third alarm. the scientistant chief says the age of the home contributed to putting out this

we begin with abc chief anchor george stephanopoulos here with me. george, those democratic caucuses, you're following them all, what are you seeing? >> she's back on a solid path to the nomination. it's hers to lose right now. nevada did what it had to do for her. it was the firewall after that big loss to bernie sanders in new hampshire. we have some clues as to why from voters. the voters valued experience and electability. she won 92% of the votes of those who wanted experience. 80% valuing electability. look at this number as well. those who made up their minds in the last three days, head over hearts, hillary clinton 51% to 37%. she now heads into south carolina, big lead there, next saturday, and has a huge lead in a lot of those big super tuesday states in march. >> fire wall right there. you're also following early republican numbers. the exit polls telling you what 7:00. one of the striking numbers, from those exit polls, a full 53% of voters in that south carolina primary feel betrayed by republican politicians. that's one of the themes we

abc's jon cathan karl is with u from washington. what would a trump win mean for his candidacy going forward, and what would -- would it give him the momentum he needs to come out ahead on super tuesday and beyond? >> reporter: look, cecilia, a trump victory in south carolina would be, in a word, huge. if he wins tonight, following that landslide victory that he had in new hampshire, trump would solidify his standing as the clear no doubt about it front-runner. in fact, we have never had a republican presidential candidate to win both new hampshire and south carolina and not win the republican nomination. he would go into super tuesday with momentum and a sizable lead in delegates. but cecilia, things could get harder for trump in the coming weeks. right now, there is an anti-trump vote, but it is divided among five other candidates. i expect one, maybe two of those candidates could drop out over the next week. trump may win big when the field is large and divided, the question is, whether he can continue to win, and the vote agains
