liz nagy, abc seven news. >> all right, liz, thanks very much. ge of the republican national convention starts at 7:00 immediately after this broadcast. abc seven news at six. >> today, new jersey democratic senator bob menendez was found guilty on all counts in his federal corruption trial. the jury deliberated for 13 hours over three days before returning the verdict this morning. federal prosecutors accused menendez of accepting hundreds of thousands of dollars in bribes in exchange for political clout. menendez pleaded not guilty to the felonies outside court today. he said he would appeal and was deeply disappointed by the verdict. he will be sentenced to october 29th. menendez faces decades in prison. >> turning now to the race for san francisco mayor. all this week, abc7 news will interview the major candidates running to lead the city. today, it was the incumbent mayor london breed. >> why do you want to lead san francisco for another term? >> i got to say i became mayor during tragedy. when ed lee died, i had to lead the city through some
