tonight a memorial for a bicyclist killed in fairfax is growing. 18-year-old chad chad chad chad abdul chadli was killed by a suv. >> they have been coming all day long to pay respects to abdul. he touched a lost lives in the community and the school before his life came to a tragic end. with heavy hearts and tears in their eyes, family friends, and classmates gather where 18-year-old abdul chadli was tragically killed. >> our son, he was humble, decent, nice boy. he's very popular. >> right now it feels like he's gone for a week and he'll be back but in reality he's gone foster. >> reporter: chadli was a star wrestler at fairfax high school. he was getting ready to attend george mason fall. >> he was in my first period, weight training and when somebody was having a bad day he would cheer you up. >> reporter: friday abdul was riding his bike on this bike path on forum drive with his friend. for some reason an suv driven by 31-year-old gary thorn of manassas crossed over several lanes of traffic into the bike pachlth chadli pushed his friend out of the way. the suv hit him and crashed into a

. >> reporter: the 18-year-old high school wrestler's name is abdul chadly. he was layed to rest earlier today. the 31-year-old driver is from manassas. police are looking into every angle. they are trying to figure out how this crash happened. the wrestling coach said abdul was riding his bike with a close friend. they were on a trail between route 29 and forum drive in fairfax. that's where he was hit and his coach says everyone is still in shock. >> abdul will be missed by a lot of people. and i just want everybody to know that he was loved and that i will hold a special place in my heart for abdul and you know, he is lost, but he won't be forgotten. >> the driver in this case, gary anthony thorn also died at the crash. police say his car continued on and hit some trees. now police tell us that they don't know why that happened and they are waiting for some results from an autopsy. reporting live, i'm lindsey, 9news now. >> thank you lindsey for that update. a motorcade made its way through southeast washington to call attention to gun violence in our area

dozens stopped at the intersection of route 29 and forum drive to remember abdul chadli. he was riding his bike on a path when an suv ran off the road and hit him. 32-year-old gary thorne was also killed. >>> federal prosecutors in maryland have charged a school bus driver with making pornographic videos of himself and an elementary school student. the case coming to light tonight out of prince georges county. fox 5's bob barnard is live in clinton to pick up the story now. >> reporter: we are at a 7-eleven store near andrews air force base where federal investigators say that school bus driver who was using his cell phone camera to make pornographic videos with this young boy accidentally left his cell phone camera's memory card in the store back in march. now, two months later, that accident has landed the guy behind bars. this suspect was arrested last friday at this prince georges county bus depot in brandywine. he's 17-year-old scott smallwood, a school bus driver for the past five years. federal investigators say smallwood used his cell phone camera to videotape him

[ indiscernible ] next to his friends as you so and his neighbors everywhere. >> reporter: while at fairfax high school, abdul had many friends and we're told that his skills on the wrestling mat were well beyond what they should have been with a few years of training. >> he had only three years of experience and this year, his senior year, it had been like he was wrestling for eight to 10 years. >> reporter: as police conduct an investigation trying to find out what caused the driver of the suv to make that fatal move, today, friends brought flowers to the accident site trying to deal with this terrible loss. >> i am going to miss him a lot. he's going to be in my heart. >> reporter: once again, fairfax county police told us that they are in the middle of a full-scale investigation and they are not only looking at the suv for mechanical issue
