abrams. i can't think of anyone more respected in terms of the voting process and articulating why the importance of the vote is the foundationwhat he proposes is from senator mitch mcconnell, not republican from kentucky, republican from the true state of cynicism. and it's a "no," no matter what you propose, no matter how far you go to come towards giving us something, the republican side, that we can live with, the answer is "no." and he's backed up by his entire caucus and nearly every member of the republican senate. so now joe manchin is going to have to stand there and he's going to have to say to himself, geez, i've been begging for bipartisanship on any of these votes. and when i turn around, there's no one behind me. there's no one behind me. they don't want bipartisanship. they just want to continue to say "no." so, joe manchin, you know, we like joe manchin, he's great with us when he comes on, but he's got some thinking to do. >> you know, mike, joe manchin, he's pretty good at that thinking thing. joe manchin, i think joe manchin has thought this out long, long ago, before today and i think that joe manchin has
