(footsteps pattering) abramson: do you think that impeachment is more on the table now?r any less than it ever was. you know my attitude from the beginning has been that impeachment should not be a fetish for anybody, but it should not be a taboo for anybody either. it's not a panacea for everything that ails us in america, it's not gonna get health insurance to people and it's not gonna lower prescription drug prices. but it is the people's last line of self-defense against a president who insists upon acting like a king and trampling the law. the great thing about america, what we love about america is that it is a constitutional democracy, it's government of the people, by the people, and for the people, and if somebody decides to disrupt the basic fabric of our republic, and to violate the law, we've got to take that seriously even... this is a system of laws, and the president is not above the law, the president is bound by the law, just like everybody else. we're all taught in third grade that we have three co-equal branches, and we're not a co-equal branch of gove

. >> strong words there from stacey abrams to know abramson camper polling very tight in georgia rightortion. which are also top issues there. so what do you see happening in that race? >> so i think that stacey abrams is in a difficult position. because again, she is really focusing on these cultural issues that are clearly important and not just the democrats. when we talk about abortion, even gun control and things like that, there are important issues. but there are not necessarily the number one issue when we talk about what drives voters to the polls. the economy for example in prices tend to be at the top of voters minds in a lot of ways voters are pretty happy with governor kemp in the way he's brought georgia's economy through the pandemic, governor kemp and republicans in georgia have also benefited greatly from a lot of the things democrats in washington have done during the pandemic so it's hard to attack governor kemp on the economy without attacking democrats in washington. so instead, it stacey abrams again focusing on health care, abortion. that's a message that main un

the new york times is saying they're newspapers have become increasingly opinionated and as jill abramson the former executive director of the new york times said and top editor i quote her in my book that the news pages of the new york times became and washington post. we're distinctly anti-trump. that's wrong. and when people inside the media say that about themselves, yes, i'm going to amplify their voices and i'm going to blow my whistle because it's not good for the country. well, i i can very easily and proudly wear two hats one is working for the company that i run a sports company and two being a student and observer of the american media. i have a lot of experience in the ladder a lot of experience in the former and what i've seen in the media is what led me to write this book. i want the media to do better. i want the media to be credible. i want more conservatives to go into the newsrooms. i want newsrooms to have a booster booster shot of independent thought it would be so helpful to the press if they weren't so like-minded if it wasn't a 12 to one ratio at the white house. th
