to adam. adam may not want to be reminded of the fact that i first met him -- he was running around davenport on my behalf, gathering potential caucus-goers for this young, untested candidate for president. adam was part of that crew of incredible young organizers who helped me win iowa and got me over the top. if it had not been for folks like adam, i would not have been in the white house in the first place -- to be able to get the affordable care act passed. i think part of the reason i suspect adam continues to work with protect our care and these initiatives is because he remembers the stories we heard back into has in 7, 2008 in tash back in 2007, 2008, in iowa. people who lost their health care, did not have health care, had substandard care. it was listening to them that we made a promise. that we do something about it. i did my best to keep that promise as president. adam continues to keep that promise in his current role. we are grateful to him. i am grateful to all of you. i look fo
