meteorologist adam klotz tracking it all from the fox weather center. adam?y there, trace. we will be talking about multiple storms firing up the next couple 6 days. the first one really beginning moving across portions of colorado and stretching up over the plains. big area of snow right now in this system. as a result, no surprise here. we have winter storm watches and warnings stretching all the way from the west coast running up into the plains and getting up into the upper midwest. this is going to be the frontal boundary see a lot of the activity. locations with snow getting up to 2 to 3 feet. widespread at least 6 inches of snow in this area. out in front of this system the air is a little bit warmer, thunderstorms and unfortunately high winds. these are wind advisors now stretching from places in the midwest all the way back across texas. running you back down into the dessert southwest. some of these winds getting up close to hurricane strength. the whole system are going to eventually run up to the east coast. but as far as your future radar goes. i

lisa: adam klotz is live at the start of the parade route to answer these questions. am: good morning and happy thanksgiving. the wind has been the big story out here. standing out here, the wind hasn't felt horribly bad. at times picking up. by and large not horribly windy. not the case everywhere. 3.5 million people will be along the parade route. 50 million people watching around the world. 8,000 people walking in the parade. it takes 90 people to hold those big 16 character balloons that everyone is so excited about. the threshold would be 23 mile-per-hour sustained winds or 34 mile-per-hour gusts. we have already been able to see some those winds. take a forecast graphic now. these are thacross the northeas. right around that threshold. looked at a number mid to you were 20's for a wind gust. that's still beneath it does still seem like a game time decision. they will wait all the way to the last manipulate to finally make that decision. guy, there are a couple new ones out here. one right behind me we have got snoopy, the astronaut. that's one we will be talking

meteorologist adam klotz joins us live from the fox extreme weather center with the forecast. can we expect, adam? >> hey there, julie. like you said, two big systems that will impact the next couple days. one of those moving across portions of the upper midwest. this is a big window maker, all we would be knocking out a loud power across these regions. there is more of a winter storm, the type you typically think of. this is going to produce a lot of snow over the next couple of days. storm number two is going to sit over the south or the west for the next several days. in doing so, it's going to allow a whole lot of wintry precipitation to really pilot. these are winter storm watches and warnings, mostly stretching across the west. some of these areas getting up to two feet of total snowfall, widespread six to 8 inches of snow. this is a very large area that will be battling that winter weather. i take you back to the first storm. as i said, big wind concerns with this one. these are wind advisory stretching from portions of the midwest all the way running into the mid atlan

adam klotz in the fox extreme weather center. start with california and some relief finally in battling those wildfires. adam: absolutely, eric. we're seeing those winds die down in a major way. mostly calm across a large portion of these regions we've been talking about. the winds even at their strongest so far this morning only getting up to 5-10 niles an hour. so even any fires that continue, it's hard to push those along when the winds are calm, really give the firefighters a little bit of an opportunity. now, the relative humidity is still low but not nearly as dry as it's been. the oranges and yellows are getting the moisture in the air content anywhere from 25-40%. it was down at 10% or lower. so just a little bit more moisture in the air, that also helps with the fire-fighting. they would love to see a little bit of rain. unfortunately, that's not going to be the case. this is our satellite and radar over the last 24 hours, and you see it's completely bone dry. it's not just true in california, it has been a rell tvly dry,

meteorologist adam klotz in the extreme weather center.od to be flying. >> we are tracking one big weather system and then we will get a break. early in the upcoming week things will be looking good. temperatures across the country right now. anytime you see cold air bumping against warmer air that is the frontal boundary where we track the most whether activity. this is the system running across portions of the southeast, very heavy rain into portions of the carolinas toward virginia. this is a system we are tracking the next couple days as it works its way up the coast. by the time you get into sunday afternoon we are looking at relatively heavy rain stretching up and down the coast. on the backside of that system the air gets colder. with the colder air we see snow across the midwest. maybe into upstate new york, places like that. those are areas we see relatively large amounts of rain. this is the rainfall from that system and some locations anywhere from 2 to 3 inches so this could be a steady downpour for folks across the mid-atlanti
