what adam parker's remarks were very well-taken in that banks do very well in time period where the dollartrong. so we think that he is correct in that. we kind of like banks right now. liz: well, look, brian, you have jpmorgan figuring out how to finally make money on fixed income atmosphere. these are smart guys at a lot of money center banks. >> i, merger and acquisition activity, they rake in a lot of fees from consolidation going on through throughout a lot of different sectors. at end of the day banks are utilities. i don't want my money tied up in utility type stocks. high legal fees, 500 million. liz: maybe in the rear view mirror? >> these are large numbers depressing earnings. as investor i can't get clarity how much more legal costs jpmorgan will have to incur. liz: or any of the names. phil, do you like the banks here? >> i love the banks here. you can take it to the bank. all the reasons they mentioned were very, very good. another reason we're in rising interest rate environment. these banks will be able to make more money off of interest, and that's good thing. they will be

olivia: we had adam parker of morgan stanley on yesterday and he said he did not think dollar strengthe it agrees because when the dollar strengthens you see pe multiples expand. do you agree? jim: that is the history and you have the ability to do mna. your currency is stronger. you can buy overseas properties. bob: what is driving stocks -- earnings or buybacks strategies? jim: long-term i want to find companies that have fundamental earnings growth because that is the most durable way to grow and the highest multiple way to grow. today, you cannot find that as easily. carol: it's getting tougher because we will see another consecutive quarter of earnings decline. what in particular at this point? jim: we're looking for companies that can find underlying volume growth year after year. olivia: everyone is looking at that. where are these companies? jim: look at quintiles -- they do outsource critical trials. r&d spending is going up because the pharmaceutical sector has been hot. so much capital going in there. you see more outsourcing and more trials. carol: they went public in 2013.

danielle and adam welcomed the baby girls last week. riley, parker april 8th after a 28-week and two day pregnancy. the delivery took just four minutes. >> each of them have their own little quirk. their personalities are starting to shine through. >> the babies are the first set of all female quintuplets born since 1969 and they're the only set born in america. in a video the couple posted to their blog, the couple shared details about their bundles of joy. >> riley was all over in my belly, always kicking. parker, she loved to just -- she just so relaxed. hazel is the little one. she's got full head of blonde -- i mean blonde hair. >> they already had a 3-year-old daughter named blake. the couple used fertility treatments for both of the pregnancies. the second time around doctors initially saw four embryos until one decided to split. >> the twins eva and olivia at first they were very easy going, like whatever. but they're starting to get feisty. >> we got a lot of changes and a lot of adjustments to get used to and figure out what our new norm is
