in money news, it was a very early morning for adams county leaders and those who attended a special hearing about oil and clear they will not support a 10-month ban in early parts of the county. after eight hours of testimony, commissioners decided to gather more information from experts and hold another public meeting. last night's meeting was adjourned about 2:00 a.m. of course the adams county meeting was held a day after state regulators approved, giving some influence over where oil wells will go, as well as noise and emissions levels. they have not satisfied either side in this debate. colorado ranks 5th in the nation now for building for 2015. they say certified spaces use less energy and water and reduce carbon emissions. they were certified here in colorado last year. they include the plaza in denver. and the commuter rail maintenance facility in town as well. >>> wear your seat belts. cdot is putting some sobering facts behind those electronic signs you see over the highway. this morning cdot says the number of people losing their lives as they travel our highways is going

cbs 4's jamie leary is tracking this story from the adams county courthouse for us. >> reporter: good morning, britt. three of the ten men seen here seen this afternoon. they are two employees and one learning center. that teacher, david hocker, was arrested along with ten other men will that undercover operation. that operation lasted for two days. hocker was employed as a substitute teacher at denver's warren village, where 106 children attend school. the president of the facility said she's shocked and said all employees including hocker with heavily screened before being hired. he was screened an additional second time as well. we're told he was only employed at the school for eight days before his arrest and was never alone with children without an ad to have sex with an 11 and 14-year-old girl and paid a state trooper $300 to do so. he was immediately arrested. now he faces six different charges in this case, the most of all of the ten men. he'll appear here this afternoon along with another employee who was a warehouse employee for the school district. he had no contact with ch
