but for now from me, ade adepitan and all the travel show team in windsor, it's bye bye. time for the bank holiday weekend, we have already beaten the record, it is the hottest early may bank holiday we have on record. this was what we had in 1999, 20 3.6 was the previous tour test. today we are going to absolutely smash that record. we're talking about highs of 28 degrees. no question it will be really hot. this is how the temperatures have been rising today, shooting up across much of the country, large parts of england and wales enjoying those temperatures, it's 82 in fahrenheit, and a balmy evening, but the weather is expected to grow cooler in western areas so by early morning we should see some rain pushing into northern ireland. the weather front moves up the atlantic. this is a cool front behind it, we have fresh air off the atlantic so things will go downhill a bit of these western areas. this is the morning on tuesday, by a roundabout lunchtime you can see it reaching some western parts of the uk, to the south, a view showers but it is still going to be a hot on

but, for now, from me, ade adepitan, and all the travel show team here in lovely windsor, it's ta—ta.s and the weather is looking really promising across most part of the country. we have high pressure very much in charge of things and thatis very much in charge of things and that is leading to glorious scenes taken by our weather watchers, such as this one from felixstowe in suffolk where we have beautiful coastal clear blue skies and that's the way it looks for many of us. not everywhere through the next couple of days. high—pressure keeping things largely dry with spells of sunshine and quite a bit warmer than it has been. we have a troublemaker, this frontal system moving into the north west of scotland that will bring some cloud, rain and windy conditions at times to north—west scotland, elsewhere high—pressure dominates. will also have some low cloud, mist and fog in the irish sea sad times that will come onshore to western parts of wales, the isle of man as well, sunny spells for the rest of the country, lifting temperatures nicely, around 18—23d in most places, cooler and bree

but, for now, from me, ade adepitan, and all the travel show team here in lovely windsor, it's ta—ta.orious day for much of the country. we saw some fine sunsets up and down the uk, like this one here in wakefield in west yorkshire. not all areas, though, were sunny and warm. coastal parts along the irish sea were disappointing, around cornwall and devon and into western wales, south—western parts of scotland as well. this weather front has been plaguing the north—west corner of scotland, bringing strong winds and outbreaks of rain. as we start sunday morning, there should rarely be any rain here, just a bit of cloud. elsewhere it is a clear start, quite chilly across eastern parts of england. sunday promises to be another glorious day for much of the country once again. sunshine from the word go. a bit of cloud across scotland. i think we are looking at a better day through the central belt on sunday afternoon. top temperatures reaching 2a or 25 celsius, so another warm day on the cards. even warmer air is imported off the continent on bank holiday monday. that will nudge temperature

but for now, from me, ade adepitan, and all the travel show team here in lovely windsor, it's ta—ta. you on the weather. a little bit of uncertainty about the weekend. thursday was a pretty glorious day for many parts of the british isles. there was always a chance of a shower around, but that was just the exception to an otherwise try rule. we made the most of it, especially across the western side because looming not1 million miles over the horizon, a new set of weather front bringing cloud and rain towards the western side of the british isles for friday. it starts pretty chilly will stop the scottish highlands and some spots in the south, the temperatures not1 million miles above freezing, but it will convert innate gloriously sunny start. come the middle part of the afternoon, the cloud would have filled in across the western isles, probably seeing the first signs of rain which will be there all over northern ireland, the odd moderate verse perhaps. if you haven't had a mention, you wouldn't see the rain until after dark if indeed you see it at all. you see the southern portion
