connell: aeg surviving the wrongful death suit.rom dennis kneale. ♪ ♪ connell: we have the musics for him. dagen: michael jackson died more than four years ago. the court battle continued up until now. connell: dennis kneale is here to talk about it. the $1.5 billion wrongful death lawsuit filed by michael jackson mother and three children. one of the key points was in hiring this doctor full-time to stay with michael jackson and keep him drugged up. why a concert promoter would need to hire a full-time dr. the jury deciding no-fault. he is worth so much and he left behind so much. he is worth more dead than he was alive. dennis: the estate was in debt and it has a net worth of $6 million up. the mother does not get some of the same benefits as the kids do. dagen: 20% to charity, 40% to the kids and 40% to the mother until she dies and then that goes to the kids. there was this ugly fight. connell: you are not entitled to win. a california jury ruled in favor of a business. that is news. dagen: more interested in this then the gove

the jury unanimously agreed that aeg live did hire dr.ad murray, the doctor convicted for involuntary manslaughter for the death of michael jackson. a no to the second question, this was 10-2, whether murray was unfit or incompetent to perform the work he was hired seasonally let the concert promoter off the hook and ended the case right then and there. we were told michael jackson's mother katherine burst into tear s. she along with michael jackson's three children were the ones that filed this case. they were seeking at least $290 million in damages. at this point it's unclear if the jacksons plan to file an appeal. dr. conrad murray meantime, he is set to be released from jail at the end of the month. raj? >> thank you. >>> an old piece of san francisco's theatrical past is about to get another act. the american conservatory theater broke ground on the project to restore the old strand theater in the midmarket neighborhood. it opened back in 1917 as the vaudeville theater. it served as a bingo parlor, a movie house and most recently as
