the nevada state afl-cio says the team has committed to being a sponsor of the union's upcoming conventione a donation to the union scholarship program. it called the donation a, quote , commitment to creating positive change in the local community. the union recently lobbied support for a bill to help fund plans for a new ballpark in las vegas. major league baseball team owners still need to vote on whether or not to approve the team's relocation plan. with the collapse of the pac 12, stanford and cal are now looking at their options to play in another conference, which could lead to the acc expanding out here to the west coast. according to the associated press, the atlantic coast conference is now exploring the possibility of adding the four remaining pac 12 schools, with an emphasis on stanford and cal. the other two universities are oregon state and washington state. the mountain west and the american athletic conference are also interested. you see, regions are set to discuss cal's future tomorrow in a closed meeting, joe fonzi will have much more on this coming up a little later. in
