find out more at aflac!...forbusiness.com >>> how do you deal with binary nature of this market? how do we deal with the fact that it feels like the fed's got the whole economy in its hands? on the one hand we're getting some pretty clear signals that things are getting better. it's what bernanke told us today. recovery's certainly starting to happen. most important being the july jobs report we got last week that showed the unemployment rate declining from 9.5% in june to 9.4% in july. the first time the unemployment rate's fallen in 15 months. that should make you bullish. right? what about the fed realizes that things are getting too good and decides to raise rates at the next meeting? something we know will eventually happen. we know a lot of people were worried about it given all the chatter about today's fed meeting. if that happens, if the fed raises rates and stops flooding the system with money, that could put the jazz boots back on the economy and stop the recovery in its tracks if it comes too soon.
