i was trying to think of what part of our agency it talk about. i want to talk about the most vulnerable seniors we know. mr. boston said what i needed to say about housing. that's pretty much the deal. our agency sees seniors like him all the time. constantly, consistently looking for housing and can't find it. we need more support services to help people and to help people a app apply. a lot of people don't know where to find housing or where to start. we are trying to focus on that with seniors. and i want to talk about senior exit center, that looks out for ex-offenders. those are the people coming back, relatives and sons and daughters and uncles and aunts that are out of jail and prison and need a place to stay. and we can't find them a place to stay. we can get them transitional housing for three month and then nothing. and lastly i want to talk about the adult center, that serves a lot of vulnerable people. i want to thank the mayor who helped out last year, and we still need that program. and i want to have a staff member tell why she work

ladies and gentlemen, thank you for joining together here at the presidio with all the different agencies. i see phil ginsburg, i know bill is around, others from our da office, richard caranza and others from the women's status as well and the district attorneys from the various counties, the school administrators and instructors and superintendents from other counties as well, as well as our community-based agencies that are so invaluable it all of us. this is a very important topic and it's one that our u.s. attorney, melinda hague and i helped spearhead yesterday with 800 students who came together who watch an incredible film by lee hirsch i've heard the wonderful reports from the kids, seen their laughter and their tears. we are going to honor your making that film by doing what we need to do to stop bullying across the country. because the data shared by our u.s. attorney, representatives from the department of education confirm if we don't do anything about it, 13 million kids will become victims again for another year. some 3 million kids across the country will decide it is better

but you are dealing with two agenc ies, mta and the cta, the county transportation authority. they have different boards that they are dealing with a lot of the same things. it seems like these two agencies never talk to each other. they bounced off of each other; they tell us, oh, that is the cta's problem, talk to them or the cta will say, talk to the mta, but to the general public it is one agency. hopefully during the year we will get that narrowed down, and make it a little easier so hopefully we won't have to be experts in government policy and government dealings to be able to deal with them. it is a big problem. a question for all of us is, what is the mta and the cta -- sorry, repeating myself, does the mta integrate of the plants with each other? in my area, polk street, there is something called the vaeness plan (sounds like) they will take up parking, take out left turns, all kinds of things but that plan has nothing to do with the plant they are looking at on polk street, window is only one block away. the cta says what happens on polk street has nothing to do with
