tracie s ahg is along the reservoir in north salem. they're about to resume this search once it gets light. >> reporter: we were told that's the case, michael. they called it off around 1:00 this morning because fog rolled in. unfortunately, that's something we're starting to see again we're starting to see again along the reservoir. the last reported transmission from that aircraft was reportedly that it was cleared to land. but that was all happening at the height of yesterday's storm. we're going to show you video right now of the search that was under way for hours. that last transmission coming around 4:00 yesterday afternoon. there were several boats on th r water, divers as well, trying to scour the reservoir for any signs of the aircraft. i did reach out to the faa. exactly what type of aircraft it wa s and how many people could possibly have been on board. there wereaa lot of local agencies here from yorktown heights. we didn't see anyone from the faa, but that doesn't mean they're not involved. as we bring you back live now,
