police say he somehow got ahold after gun and accidentally shot himself. jenny joyce, on the scene this morning, jenny? >> good morning, thomas. right now, it is quiet here on the 2600 block every south hick street. that's because police tell us that the boy's parent and family members are at chop talking with investigators right now, as police try to figure out what exactly happened this morning. investigators tell us, that the child lives here at this home with his parents, and four siblings, police say, just before 12:30 this morning, they found out that a child was transported by way after private vehicle to methodist hospital after he was shot in the face with a revolver. the boy was then moved to chop for treatment. the shooting happened in the victim's parents' second floor bedroom. and at this point, police say, they believe that this was a self-inflicted accidental shooting. but, police don't know how the child got his hands on the gun. according to police, both of the boys parent, and all of his siblings were home at the time. the oldest child in
