joining us now are emily curtis and aimee hickman coeditors of the feminist magazine exponent two. you for joining us tonight. >> thanks for having us. >> john: thanks for being had. aimee, as a mormon feminist, what is it that compels you to vote against governor romney who could be the first member of your faith to reach the white house? >> well, as a feminist, i share the sentiments of most american feminists who don't see romney as a person who supports policies that are in our best interest. he doesn't support -- we can't trust his opinion on abortion. and we can't trust what he said about things like equal pay for equal work. binders full of women comments i think really resonated with a lot of mormon feminists who heard in his statement something that comes from within our own culture. a kind of paternalistic partriarchal tone that is uncomfortable. it is something that we're actively fighting against. so in those moments when he reveals that part of himself i think people are right to distrust him. so i -- those two sides of me distrust him. the feminist side but also the m
