in 1975, this was assigned to the air lift wing of the air force.at-ready force responsible for shuttling government officials around the world. this particular dc-9 when it was in service was configured as a short-haul flying machine, not necessarily a long-haul flying machine. when i was used it was used by the white house to fly all over the u.s. and south and central america. the passengers included on occasion the actual president of the united states. that means that this dc-9, at some point, was air force freakin' one. air force one isn't one specific plane. air force one is what you call whatever air force plane the president is on at the moment. so when the president was on this plane this was technically air force one. and the big news is it is for sale. it's for sale. you can buy air force one. the government is auctioning off air force one for a $50,000 bidding deposit you can enter the race to own it. the pictures on-line, we know it has a cockpit with a lot 0 of dials and a card table set up. plenty of room for friends and a weird blue

the air is moist and unstable. you get the cool air coming from the north. you get the dry air coming in from the west. you get incredible amounts of lift. so that's what we're seeing. you also have the jet stream in a position that is adding lift to the atmosphere, too. and on top of it all, jake, we had that day of pretty sunny skies. it is pretty calm. the storms just blossomed out of nowhere. and they grew, you know, some ten miles high. and that can make for some really mean tornadoes and we do have these tornado warnings in place here. this particular area has been deemed by the spc to be particularly dangerous tornadoes. so a very strong tornado. as chad was saying, made up of multiple vortices. you can clearly see that hook right here on the radar. it is taking a southerly component to the direction of the movement here. that puts it into mustang at 6:51. putting it into oklahoma city at 7:12. once again, this isn't a storm to mess around with. get off the roadways into a shelter below ground if you can. make sure that everyone is accounted for. and
