i can tell you ak track rains are rolling again down here on the embarcadero at broadway right here atlondon square in oakland. but there is a man with an incredible story to tell. take a look at pictures that help tell the story. about 3:45 this morning, a call came in that a man in a wheelchair had been hit by a train. he was trapped underneath the cow catcher, the very front of that train. crews responded. it took about 45 minutes according to the oakland police. they managed to jack up that engine, that 130 ton engine, just a few inches that was just enough to get this man out from underneath that cow catcher. he was conscious and he was talking according to oakland police when he was rescued from underneath that cow catcher part of the train. he was taken to the hospital. no word on his condition but pretty encouraging words when you hear someone hit by a train in a wheelchair and trapped 45 minutes is conscious and talking as they get him out of here. pretty close to a miracle as we're going to get today i think. live in oakland, terry mcsweeney, abc 7 news. >> terry, thank you.
