concerns about akamai aren't going away any time soon. he's raising his price target for the second quarter in a row. joining us now is mark mahaney. we were speaking last night after the reports came out. we were wondering why the stocks slid. is it all because of margins? >> i think there are two issues. this is the second quarter in a row where one of their executives announced they are going to be leaving the company, and that was a very good management team, so that gives the stock a pause. the second one is it's a very high margin company, it has high prices, so competition is going to come in, their price and go margins will come down, and they're guiding for markets to come down. they say it's due to acquisitions, but there's a question whether it's due to high pressure. >> we're still wondering if that's the right thing they've done? >> they probably did the right deal. the stock really jumped on that deal. that was a defensive acquisition so we always thought that reaction was a little bit suspect. but nonetheless, it's a deal t
