i'm alan wang. police believe they arrested two men responsible for shooting an 11-year-old last night in the western addition. we spoke to the girl's uncle this afternoon. lisa? >> alan, this whole thing is devastating. the young girl was staying in an apartment complex just across the street from here, and she was visiting her family. the whole house was quiet when the shooting started. we have decided not to identify the victim for her own protection. >> window here, and the window, and then it hit her. >> eric holtz's 11-year-old neils is in critical but stable condition at san francisco general hospital after gunfire erupted. just after midnight, two bullets were fired into the apartment on laguna street. >> one shot entered the bedroom window, and one shot her through -- near the lung and exited the back. she ran out, said, i'm shot. >> she was getting ready for bed when the shooting started. >> it's a tragedy, a complete tragedy. >> even san francisco police are outraged by this crime. investi

i'm alan wang. seven teenagers including a young man from richmond were attacked by a grizzly bear while hiking in the alaska an wilderness. it happened in a town 120 miles north of anchorage. the 18-year-old richmond student was participating in a survival course by the national outdoor leadership school. and tonight we spoke to his family. the richmond native had never been camping a day in his life before joining a month-long survival course in the alaska an wilderness. his family was shocked when he called and explained he was attacked by a giant grizzly bear. >> he said the size of my grandma's lexus. >> they said the bear mauled two students and then turned and began chasing him. >> he said that when he saw the bear he ran, and then he looked back and then he fell and saw the bear and the bear got on him, and then he started kicking the bear. he kicked it in the nose. >> the bear ran off, but not before biting him several times in the ankles and feet. two of the several students were badly mau
