alana murphy, thank you very much for speaking to us on the bbc news.gathering reaction and trying to figure out what has been going on. duncan, what do you know? it is daylight and we can get some sense of what is happening around you? can you gives an idea about what happened as mike it all seems to have unfolded from a roundabout 2pm. behind me, you mayjust be able to see the police car, if you metres beyond that. the reports are somewhat contradictory. but around at 2pm, from eyewitness reports, that a man went down into a shop with a knife and started stabbing people. there are reports of people may be two people stabbed inside the shop. it is not clear what state they are in in terms of their health or injuries. the reporting on to suggest that the man went out of the shop, again armed with his night, and stabbed a woman, possibly on a b i cycle. and stabbed a woman, possibly on a bicycle. —— armed with his knife. reports of around three people injured. it is at that point at the alarm was raised and the police arrived. incredibly quickly by all a

earlier i spoke to alana murphy who was on streatham high street at the time. tooting common. we were leaving the house to buy groceries. a massive trauma helicopter. a weird thing to see. then ambulances and police cars came out of nowhere. they were a couple of other helicopters circling. we assumed it was a car accident or something. we continued walking up towards the high street to go to tesco. when we got to the armed police everywhere and people standing not knowing what was going on. all the armed police there were screaming at everybody to get back and they were pushing everybody back down the road to put up a cordon. they were a few police who looked like they were crouched around somebody, but i have no idea what it was they were crouched around. absolutely. you had not heard any gunshots or anything until the helicopter came? no, not untilthe helicopter came? no, not untilthe helicopter came? no, not untilthe helicopter came out. we were walking out of our front door and when we walked out, the helicopter was there. you kindly put some pictures out
