we're looking at the area of low pressure and cold air from the gulf of alaska that is continuing to drop to the south. our best chance of valley snow as we head to friday and saturday at this point. by thursday, we're going to be watching those lowering snow levels across the bay area. some of the highlights with this next blast of cold air, looks like temperatures will be in the 40s for daytime highs. by friday, rain and snow dropping down to the sea level as we head to friday night and saturday. the best chance of getting a little bit of rain-snow mix looks to be early saturday morning and the last snow was way back in 1976. this was an event that's happened about ten times since recordkeeping began. in terms of overall totals, we're going to have to wait until we get closer to this event. it's based upon how much cold air is available saturday morning. starting off cold in the east bay with conditions in the 30s. rebounding into the 50s. we'll start off cold in the south bay with 36 in los gatos. 38 in gilroy. 35 in livermore and plenty of low to mid-30s. we hear you. we've got y
